Looks good but I do wonder how long the thin double sided tape will last with all the vibration when moving and the bumper natural flex outwards. Perhaps you can use 3M (grey colour) double sided tape if you go this route?
*
Actually the tape is thick if you see the real thing (1mm) so I got roughly 2mm there. Anyhow will have to see how well it holds, will be going to Genting these few days. Wet + bumpy.

Anyone knows if the PIAA silicone wiper refills can fit our stock wipers?
I measured the width of the claw is as per specification of the piaa wipers: 6mm for the 14" and 8mm for the 26 inch.

Buying the full set is much more expensive.

Until now I haven’t buy yet becoz I don like the function when push to P gear Auto Unlock.
*
I too prefer to have it unlock when engine off, instead of P. Sometimes we don't exit immediately upon putting to P.

QUOTE(EON @ Sep 23 2018, 07:40 AM)
If im not mistaken, it is settable. you can just turn off the Auto unlock for P gear.
*
Mine can choose to lock at D, or 10-15km/h speed. Both, however, unlock at P.

QUOTE(sonicmaster @ Sep 23 2018, 09:29 AM)
So far I cant find too.. those can turn off such as double signal

Mine can set whether you want hazard lights when:
1. You forget to disengage handbrake when driving off. Useless feature as hazard lights do nothing but cause unnecessary alarm to car behind yours
2. When engaging reverse gear. I turn this off as when I adjust my car when parallel parking, other drivers tend to think I'm leaving the lot.

Well, that's true but nowadays when just about everyone is a gangster on the road, a big size SUV will deter them from coming near you  thumbup.gif

Most road bullies drive Wira and Myvi. Unless your big SUV is a luxury brand, you cannot escape from them.

My FL door panel moves when I pull the door grab (the one we grab to close the door when we are in the car).
Heck, just about everything moves - roof liner, dashboard, and even body panels.

Yes, lock again.

I sent my son to school and wife to work everyday, when reach their place, they will unlock the door manually, so 2 situation here:
1) I put gear to N if stop longer than 1 minutes, so when door close, put gear to D lock the door.
2) Gear still at D, when door closed, immediately lock again.

When stop longer, put gear to P, just lock again manually. If I need to go out from the car for awhile, anyone in the car will lock the car manually.

Can we lock the car doors without arming alarms? Going away for few days, don't want the alarm to drain battery. Or just don't worry about it, 5 days should be fine?

If only for 5 days it won't kill the battery. I have been on a 8 days trip and mine starts just like normal. Of course mine is just 1 years old that time (early this year).

Anyways if City doesn't have a hood sensor, you could try to pop the hood up, then lock the car, and disconnect the battery before closing the hood again. Make sure you don't fully close it, or you will have no way to open it back again to reconnect the battery.

That's depend on the clip use when Honda assemble the car. Mine is not very firm too but became better after change the clip.

Green is original use in my car, not so firm, even broken and have gap. after change to blue one, never broken till now.

Need to do this step.
1. With you outside, and the driver door open, press the inner button for locking the car door. Remember not the outside button at your door handle.
2. Immediately pull the handle of the outside door and while the handle is pulled, close the door. That's it.

If your door gets unlocked due to taking too long to reach for the handle outside, just repeat.

3 weeks still OK. Yes, my friend left his car for 3 weeks, still can start.

based on your suggestion, why not just fully close the hood, the hood use cable to release it.

If you slam the hood down, you will lock the hood which requires it to be unlocked via the hood release handle inside the car. If the car is fully locked, how are you gonna open the hood? Just drop hood down while you hold open the front hood lever so that the latch just catches the hood when its down, you will see the hood slight raised up.

The problem is, mine is coming out all the time and it drops more and more as time goes by.

I've complained about this but seems like nothing was fixed. My Honda experience is becoming worse than my Proton car.

If the car fully locked, just use the key to open the door manually, pull the hood release, connect the battery. Done.
