Anyone knows if the PIAA silicone wiper refills can fit our stock wipers?
I measured the width of the claw is as per specification of the piaa wipers: 6mm for the 14" and 8mm for the 26 inch.

Buying the full set is much more expensive.

Parking. Interested to know too 😁

Any suggestion for bass and treble settings?
*
Mine is FL V spec. Bass I reduced 2 from max, treble reduced 1 from max. Then set sound effect to SUV. For me already good enough compared to my 2008 stock myvi speaker.

Hi all,

I know this questions had been discussed many times. But I just wanted to have owner feedback if using Michelin PS4 on stock 185/55R16 rim.

I've checked on website that the suitable size is 205/50R16 which PS4 does produce this size.

If I use that tyre size, other than higher fuel consumption and tyre might look weird due to wider than the rim, is there any other disadvantages? For example like the car might sway left and right during cornering due to tyre wider than rim. Thanks all laugh.gif laugh.gif

205/50/16 doesn't look wide at all, at least for my eyes. FC seem normal to me, I get 15-17km/l at highway with half of the way is slow moving jam (5 persons in car and boot is full). Never test sharp cornering yet since using the new tire. Anyway I not using Michelin, so my thought might be different with others.

Both my jazz gk n city is on michelin ps4 205/50/16. So far so good. Just feel less responsive on my city compare to stock tyres, probably due to better grip.
*
Thanks for the replies. Then most probably I will change to 205/50R16 when it's time to change new tyre laugh.gif

11 months @ 20k km is quite bad. Typically it should last 1.5~2years minimum for normal usage even if warranty is only 1 year. Are you sure you can't insist to claim warranty for that?
*
I haven't got the chance to visit the SC yet. Maybe will try and ask by next week. I just done my 20k service 1 week ago and the SC claimed that the battery health is still good. I was wondering whether is it true because I heard some owner battery dead around 1 year also

If ur battery was last week tested good and you have starting problem, perhaps its ur starter going to KO soon, not ur battery.
*
Alright. Thanks for your advice bro. I will send the car to SC as soon as possible. laugh.gif

Not go in. I mean dust will start to stick on the silicone surface and you will see dust & lint particles on the cover. If you used pen/pencil with rubberised grip or keychain with rubber features that you would put in ur pocket, you will know what I mean.
*
Maybe you can try leather case. I am using it for 11 months already. So far the case still look as new. laugh.gif Cheaper if buy from aliexpress. Lelong also got but abit more expensive laugh.gif

I'm also waiting the tyre to worn out then change to wider tyre. But the tyre depth seems still new after 22k usage

I haven't decide yet. Still looking for owner feedback. But in my mind I was planning upgrade to 205/50R16 PS4 laugh.gif some say the rim can fit 205 without issue, some say not recommended due to rim width

if you upgrade  to that tyre size but using the stock rims, you will have tyre wider than rims. Which will affect your handling performance...

Usually 16 & 17 inch tyre not that much difference in terms of price. Some might prefer to go straight to 17 as 17 will have more tyre choices compare to 16.
*
Ya. That's why I am still thinking laugh.gif But I didnt plan to change the rim, only change the rubber. The original size only have eco tyre......

Hi guys, I got situation here need advice from your experience.

Was asking my SA to settle my car road tax + insurance and he already confirmed we can pay on 3 Nov. We still messaged him when we on the way to make payment on the day and he still replied us said it is ready can go cashier pay straight  or look for him also can. Unfortunately, we couldn't pay because my car plate record is not presence at the cashier there. I go look for SA he said the person in-charge missed out mine. It is ok, fine, I told him I will be back on 10 Nov to make the payment asked him make sure it is ready and don't miss again.

Today he send me a new document the total from 1.8k to 2.2k and said price increased. What say you guy on this matters?
*
I am not sure about your case. But I just renew my roadtax and insurance last week and my SA told me that MSIG will increase the price starting from November 2018. I managed to bank in to the SC bank account and get the october (lower) price. Maybe next year u can try ask for their bank account so it will be easier to make payment

Because the Bosch horn is not waterproof, so I decided inside the engine area is the best.
Super loud, got sound signature of a continental car.

Just asking ya. If I change the horn Honda will void the honk warranty only or any other parts will be affected? Thanks

Hi all, thought of changing my wiper blades on my FL city, the stock wiper doesn't seem to wipe that well and always leave water streak marks.

What is the size for each side? And any recommended brands?

I don't need to use original Honda right.
*
U can straight away measure at the wiper to get 100% accurate measurement laugh.gif btw, I am using PIAA silicone refill fit to original frame. Just changed last month so cant feedback yet.

Is this good enough? saw some reviews saying it has squeeky sound.

Looking for silicone one but not sure what brand is good.
Heard PIAA is very good but expensive. how much is the refill and can it fit original honda wiper?
Thanks smile.gif
*
If not mistaken I bought it for around RM90 for both side. It can fit nicely to the original honda wiper. U just need to take out the rubber and replace with silicone. laugh.gif

Imagine you bought it and use for 1 year. Only RM1 per day laugh.gif If u buy outside make sure you find a good quality visor because I saw a lot of low quality visor the plastic faded and have very rough brownish surface.
