Today finally find the courage & time to try out my MacGyver solution...
Actually I bought this recently to replace 1 of my door guard tape ![]() TLDR, I placed 2 layers(top & bottom) around the screw hole. Punctured a hole using the screw, lock it then screw back in. Hope it'll last lol » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Sep 23 2018, 12:32 PM) Looks good but I do wonder how long the thin double sided tape will last with all the vibration when moving and the bumper natural flex outwards. Perhaps you can use 3M (grey colour) double sided tape if you go this route? Actually the tape is thick if you see the real thing (1mm) so I got roughly 2mm there. Anyhow will have to see how well it holds, will be going to Genting these few days. Wet + bumpy. |

QUOTE(dickybird @ Sep 29 2018, 03:19 PM) Does anyone actually use their paddle shift regularly? I have had my hybrid for almost a year, I can probably count the number of times using the shifters on one hand. Being doing that when going down from Genting as well(will go up again soon lol). It helps alot to downshift plus less pressure on brakes. Not much usage on highway other than cruise control. |

QUOTE(legendaryNOKIA @ Dec 6 2018, 07:43 PM) I'm getting 13-14L+ avg these days with ECON (3months+). In KV most of the time. My morning journey is mostly smooth with few light jam sections. Only after work is heavy jam on and off. Can't say much about you but better start getting used to CVT + don't floor peddle becoz you need 'power' as you won't gain few minutes early arrival especially in jam. |

QUOTE(hus2020 @ Dec 7 2018, 02:43 PM) I wonder why? If u use car less why would it need servicing in 6 months. I believe a year should be a more reasonable duration Refer to the previous comment, it's not how you use your car but how the Warranty TnC applies. If you don't want to enjoy free labor or parts, might as well go service outside based on your own timing. |

QUOTE(nordingh @ Dec 7 2018, 02:58 PM) You can delay 1 month. If you delay further, they will jump to the next service. I believe this is depends on SC's discretion so mileage may vary. I don't object if HM provide warranty options for customers but it is still depends on whether there's enough customer base to justify the action.I give you my example. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Last year last service on 21/10/17 for 60K, then I suppose service at 21/03/18 for 70K but I delay until 17/07/18 because too busy, so SC skipped the 70K, and do 80K instead. My next service in on 17/01/18 for 90K. My mileage now still not reach 70K yet. And yes, warranty still not void, I mange to claimed the push start button. Don't follow my step, some SC might void the warranty. |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Dec 7 2018, 10:37 PM) How to drive down in Smode? Just put to S when you feel the need to downshift, playing around Gear 2 & 3 until Gohtong Jaya where you can increase to 4 & 5th gears before dropping to 2-3 just before exiting to the Karak highway. All that time, remember to put on that fengtau headbanging music. I'll just use S mode till I hit highway. Used paddle shift play with 2-3rd gear, too bad I don't have Initial D Eurobeat music kek though I enjoy it. |

QUOTE(safe118 @ Dec 8 2018, 09:16 PM) If you already got your car then better do outside, will save a lot more. Cosmetic wise it doesn't have much difference, only quality. For me the HM kit doesn't worth that price unless it provide wear & tear warranty kek. |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Feb 21 2019, 11:23 PM) Since I gt my City. I went for tyre alignment and balancing in my 30,000km service but still the same. The SC pomen test drove my car and no feedback from them. Can't say much but after my 2nd alignment (same shop, after replaced my punctured tyre), I have the same feedback from my driving. Only difference is previously steering is light (35kpa) and currently bit heavy (34kpa) but steady nonetheless |
