Good for you. Be happy and grateful that you are on TIME, and manage to get the TIME firmware that fixes most of the problems that TM doesn’t seem to be able to resolve with this particular router.
*
TM has also latest firmware as TIME from May this year (16-05-2018), with modification for:

1. Support DualLan
2. Support Tr069

I know, bro, but that doesn’t resolve the issue unfortunately, and they added TR069 as well. No thanks.

They told me like that too.  Then I asked her to change my plan to 30mbps basic (RM79) since if got turbo next year, let say June 2019, I only enjoy 300mbps at RM139 only for few months.

Then she said the 30mbps basic got quota which then i showed her the printed FAQ from TM website stating the quota will only be imposed next year too.

After that, she went to see her boss, and offer me the turbo upgrade withing this 2 weeks.

i refused the offer and still want to proceed with the RM79 30mbps mentioning to her that RM139 is not perpetual and only 24 months.

Then she said the discount will be perpetual once turboed..

*
Yet another example of how if users do not have the correct info from FAQ or other users here, they could easily teell you something which is not true, like the quota above. Good for you for taking the FAQ with you.

I think first time I'm reading that old RM139 after turbo will remain after 24 months. Hope that is true. You should be able to see the info in your customer portal after the upgrade.

My device:

BTU I240G
Router TPLink Archer AC1200

I've upgraded the firmware.
I haven't change the LAN cable yet, still the Cat5e provided by TM since 2015 (it looks ugly now hahaha)
Going to get a newer Cat, miawww

So, on wifi with 2 phones + 1 android box + TV + laptop connected
I managed to get 290Mbps download, 206Mbps upload speed.

My unifi plan is Turbo 800Mbps.

It just works differently. Don't ask me how TM operates lol. If they operate well, there wouldn't be so much problems with them. Inconsistent pricing, plans, and all sort of shit.
iPhone X is only 2x2 MIMO, so no point you upgrade to the best router in the world, when your device noes not support the turbo speed. Very few if any device will be able to support the 800Mbps on wifi. It is device limitation.
Yes. That is right.
Yes, they do. They give same router, unless you are on VDSL, then you might get ZTE or something else.

Thanks for the info.

Hi Guys, I am not following the latest news and quite shocked with the new package RM129 for 100Mbps.

I am using 30Mbps RM139 Unifi Bonanza and wondering I can downgrade to RM129 100Mbps?

You also have the option to wait for your turbo upgrade to 300M if you need that speed.
