checked with unifi live chat, say speed has been tagged to 800mbps but no sms received yet.. thinking to downgrade to rm129 100mbps to my original speed before the boost as i dont need 800 mbps.. any comments?

We have no idea how much they will charge for 800Mbps in the future and you never know when you will need more.

I was told by the staff at TMpoint that after downgrade to RM129 my previous STB cannot be used anymore, only can use device to watch. Is it true?

Maybe can. My 6s, the most I can get is 300 Mbps. Somehow it's not connecting at 2x2 but it saturates 1x1 just fine. The iPad 2017 goes up to 515 Mbps which means it's connecting at 2x2. Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone 7 to try.

Existing users can switch to the new RM129 100M package. That's what many here are doing. Unless you want to wait for your turbo upgrade.

Recently after opening a report, I got a call from the Complaints Dept. I did ask about the 50M package but the person did not seem to know about it, or at least pretending not to know. After some time talking, in the middle of my sentence, the call got cut-off. Well, I think the person hung-up as they did not call back. Probably got tired of my complaints. And the ticket was closed after that...

They told me like that too. Then I asked her to change my plan to 30mbps basic (RM79) since if got turbo next year, let say June 2019, I only enjoy 300mbps at RM139 only for few months.

Then she said the 30mbps basic got quota which then i showed her the printed FAQ from TM website stating the quota will only be imposed next year too.

After that, she went to see her boss, and offer me the turbo upgrade withing this 2 weeks.

i refused the offer and still want to proceed with the RM79 30mbps mentioning to her that RM139 is not perpetual and only 24 months.

Then she said the discount will be perpetual once turboed..




Yes, if you upgrade e.g 30mbps advance to 100mbps lite, you already have standard pack (aneka , etc) with you + stb. topup another RM30, will give you ultimate pack.

Differ from new user, they need to topup RM30 just to watch unifitv through STB, and another RM30 for ultimate.

You should be getting more. My 6s gets 300Mbps and my iPad 2017 515Mbps on wifi tests.

Good for you. Be happy and grateful that you are on TIME, and manage to get the TIME firmware that fixes most of the problems that TM doesn’t seem to be able to resolve with this particular router.

thats why i asked here if anyone with bonanza got turbo or not.. is it true perpetual or not..
