Me.....planning to sell off my watch 3.......to get watch 4

I would rather invest on this than xr....

still no LTE version here. black crown instead of red crown.

no telco supports e-sim i guess.

but maxis seems got esim for huawei but not for apple yet. hope they can support asap else we really less alot of feature

they should then. else in bolehland totally have no GPS + Cellular version.

i am ordering either one of these below. still considering which model to get.

i think nike one better? because it got nike watch faces

actually i wondering if get the GPS+Cellular from SG is it the watch will still works fine here without esim (expected without calls function)

LOL ecg is only available in US. And it is. Not available at launch.

Don’t know my 42mm watch band can fit 44mm AW or not...

Getting both this and the new iPhone. Hopefully they will have sufficient stock on launch.

They already said during the presentation all previous gen Apple watch bands will fit.

yeah my only reason as well. if not more or less the health and fitness is same as series 3. Apart from that it is able to tell u abnormal heart rate, and slip trip fall detection. and tat slip trip fall detection is useless without esim. Because it will automatically call to 911 after 1 minute u din get up, but no esim here means the features is half baked. i dont need u to tell me i fell to the floor, i got my own body sensor to tell me lol

i wonder if its a hardware thing or apple user id thing to determine you are in the US or what

not sure how they implement, probably can email apple for more info.

Not planning to upgrade to the Series 4, as my Series 3 is currently sufficient for my use

Having a bigger screen does not make a difference for me as I dont look at my watch as often as I look at my phone screen

thinking whether want series 3 or 4. Series 3 should be cheaper and more worth it, especially series 4 won't be having the ECG.

Series 4 is slightly thinner and has a bigger screen, so can futureproof yourself awhile if you get the series 4

Not necessary. Even they have esim support for other manufacturer, it does not mean they support Apple esim still. If maxis supports it, they would have done it by now since you said they support HUAWEI one.

Same for lion city, only SingTel has esim support for Apple Watch. However, when it is being asked about esim support for new iPhones. They said they will work with Apple to introduce the service. From here can see that, even the same telco support esim for Apple Watch, it also support esim for iPhones straightaway.

in my opinion, this time our telco don't have much option other than providing the eSIM service... its kind of late now. but better late than never... pls take note our neighbour, thailand also has implemented this eSIM thing...

No issues, managed to update my Apple Watch Series 2 to OS 5.

Just wonder will they launch the Stainless Steel (LTE) model here. I prefer to have the sapphire crystal glass. My Series 0 stands the bash after so many years. Not a single scratch on the screen. This is the reason why I am still using my Series 0.

Is screen protector really needed for Apple Watch without sapphire crystal?

What's features this series 4 has that you guys plan to buy the watch? From previous owned Series 1,2,3, it has softer loudspeaker no doubt. How loud is this series 4?

The only feature that I interested with this Watch is Walkie-Talkie. Of course it's available for previous series but louder loudspeaker is a must have.

Was never bothered with an Apple Watch until the 4. The bigger screen, thinner body, louder speaker, faster 64bit processor and haptic-enabled digital crown are all making me very interested.

I really hope that our telco will support the esim function but looking at our telco's coverage, I think the best telco to give support is only Maxis. I doubt even like DiGi or Celcom able to provide full LTE coverage. U Mobile, dont need to even talk about it.

But recently, I asked Maxis DiGi and U Mobile about the availability of Watch 4 LTE version here and they could only answer me that they do not have any info/instructions yet on Apple Watch. However, only U did not respond.

I was the same as @kmrdeva , never bother about Apple Watch but since 4 came out, it got me excited but no LTE support here, pretty sucks.

I am a Strava users. It will be nice to see that HR intensity bar as shown in Garmin watch on Apple Watch.

Also found out there's no lit up on AW when facing up.

New Apple Watch S4 reporting in.
Purchased this on launch day last week.
Upgraded from the original s0 and never tried any of the versions in between.
I’m blown away how fast and snappy this S4 feels.
Totally loving the performance and not to forget the awesome battery life.
After testing this out for this whole week, will be surely getting a couple more for my wife and dad this weekend.

Ps. Totally freaking out with my monochrome in the center of my watch.

Aluminium models are fairly easy to get.
Stainless Steel models need a little luck on your side.

Yes. There is a custom gadget wrapping shop in sg wang.
Did a full body transparent wrapping.
Did the same with my s0 previously. Helped a lot over the years maintaining the scuff free look

Bro...are you wrapping the whole watch including the back where all the sensors are? Just wonder will it affect the sensors or not...

Wrapped the whole thing but not the sensors. I was having the same concerns so thought was best to avoid covering them.

I will be getting the Saphire crystal glass...probably just going to wrap the body. Since the glass is scratch proof. I have my series 0 stainless steel. Not a single scratch on the screen after so many years, so i am pretty confident with the Saphire

Same here, just minor scuffs here n there but overall fantastic condition.
Now kept in drawer since resale value not so good.
