Just wonder will they launch the Stainless Steel (LTE) model here. I prefer to have the sapphire crystal glass. My Series 0 stands the bash after so many years. Not a single scratch on the screen. This is the reason why I am still using my Series 0.

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Sep 28 2018, 01:12 AM) Yes. There is a custom gadget wrapping shop in sg wang. Did a full body transparent wrapping. Did the same with my s0 previously. Helped a lot over the years maintaining the scuff free look Bro...are you wrapping the whole watch including the back where all the sensors are? Just wonder will it affect the sensors or not...

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Sep 28 2018, 09:56 AM) Wrapped the whole thing but not the sensors. I was having the same concerns so thought was best to avoid covering them. ya...good to know that i am not the only one that think like this... I will be getting the Saphire crystal glass...probably just going to wrap the body. Since the glass is scratch proof. I have my series 0 stainless steel. Not a single scratch on the screen after so many years, so i am pretty confident with the Saphire

Now kept in drawer since resale value not so good. ya...I will probably keep for my kids and treat it as a family pass down to the next generations....you know, like how those ppl doing with their mechanical watches?

QUOTE(sigheart @ Oct 3 2018, 04:25 PM) Guess I’ll be lining up for the Apple Watch instead of the iPhone this year. Feels weird. Same here bro. For me, no point upgrading from an X this year. But everyone said must upgrade from Series 0

QUOTE(zerko @ Oct 4 2018, 03:24 PM) If using an AppleId registered for US Account, will the ECG function work when worn in Malaysia ? Just wondering - unlikely they track location. Good question. I would be curious to know as well...

QUOTE(pehkay @ Oct 8 2018, 10:01 AM) We can buy from Apple SG online to MY? @harmeet15 is correct, You can't. Once confirmed MY is not getting stainless steel version (I want the sapphire crystal glass), I will order online and ship to my brother's house in SG. Just me...I just don't get the point of having to put screen protector and casing on the watch. I had a stainless steel Series 0, there isn't a single scratch on the screen. Totally don't mind the scratches on the stainless steel body as it adds character to the body (just like my 16 years old TAG Heuer, scratchless screen but seasoned body). And if i want to, I can easily "wipe" those scratches off (just check online). Hence I am so particular in getting the Stainless Steel. I wish Apple release Stainless Steel without LTE.... QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Oct 8 2018, 11:39 AM) I agree 100% on this. Just cleaned my Series 0 and it still looks amazing. Aluminium watches do not have the same feeling i think. It's ok to get the Lte model la bro. For now can use over wifi later on lets see what lte can do alone without the phone. Aluminium can't clean. You will even scratch it more i think...hahaha... And yes, will just go with the LTE model since there is no choice, although I have no plan to add another LTE plan to my Maxis plan even if the they gonna roll that out in MY.

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Oct 8 2018, 01:34 PM) I'll want to try the lte functions on the watch for some time and give it a go. Also want to see how the battery holds up with the cellular on. If the impact is nominal, will consider keeping lte on all the time. It is good for you then. Have you got yours from SG?

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Oct 8 2018, 09:13 PM) Based on data I found online, iOS devices sales in MY is still lacking. The majority flagship phones that are sold out there are Android based. Then the more towards middle income will just buy a 1-2k phone at max and keep it going on for 2-3 years. iOS on the other hand, do not have the numbers. Only high incomes or those really save hard only afford to buy Apple products which is quite rare for Malaysia. So, just based on these, Apple Malaysia have enough strong reasons to not bring LTE variant in as it will just not worth it aka can't make much money. But i see many iPhone out there....even iPhone sepuluh.

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Oct 9 2018, 10:16 AM) hahaha....you could be right. I think I only pay attention when I see people using iPhone or wearing an Apple Watch. Never really paying attention to the Samsung, Huaiwei, Vivo or Samung Gear....maybe should come out from my bubble...

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Oct 11 2018, 03:28 PM) Yup. Even Singapore struggling with stock. Don’t know how malaysia situation will be. Current stock levels at orchard sg... sea of red. I think Malaysia are not as keen in getting the watch as iPhone though. Never heard or see long Q for watch. I could be wrong this time...
