QUOTE(ben3003 @ Sep 14 2018, 10:10 AM) yeah my only reason as well. if not more or less the health and fitness is same as series 3. Apart from that it is able to tell u abnormal heart rate, and slip trip fall detection. and tat slip trip fall detection is useless without esim. Because it will automatically call to 911 after 1 minute u din get up, but no esim here means the features is half baked. i dont need u to tell me i fell to the floor, i got my own body sensor to tell me lol i wonder if its a hardware thing or apple user id thing to determine you are in the US or what |

Between the normal vs Nike, I canβt think of a reason not to get the Nike edition
You get more faces plus a reflective sports loop (if you are considering the sports loop) |

QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Dec 7 2018, 03:12 PM) Changing Your Apple Watch or iPhone's Region Won't Enable ECG App Outside of United States Any hack to make this work outside of USA? Does buying the watch in the US solve this?Apple today released watchOS 5.1.2, which enables the ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 models. However, as Apple made clear, the ECG app is currently only available in the United States and its territories of Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, preventing it from being used internationally at this time. Many software features on Apple devices are initially limited to the United States, but international users have often been able to simply change their iPhone or Apple Watch region to the United States to gain access. That's not the case with the the ECG app on the Apple Watch Series 4, though, as it only functions on models purchased in the United States. Those who live in and bought an Apple Watch in Canada, the UK, or elsewhere abroad can't use the region-switching trick to enable the ECG app β it doesn't work. QUOTE(harmeet15 @ Dec 9 2018, 01:14 PM) So far I did not come across any workaround. Only buying in the US solves this. Thank you for that info ππ»Im using cellular version, using esim for my phone but the app wont let me add a plan to my apple watch as it says Maxis is not configured to work with AW. Updating is fine, but it won't work here for now. |
