Hhaha... dont have to be so panic... I also very careful with my brackets. i dont force myself to eat hard or crunchy food. But my friends told me not to worry too much. She is said it wont come out or break so easily.
Hahaha... i manage to chew on chicken breast just now... First time... hahaha.... But i still dont dare to eat sandwiches and burger.

hahaha. . i also got that kind of dream when i first started to wear braces. some brackets tercabut oso...luckily it's just a dream.

Erm... this month (October) ngam ngam a year loh...

for now, the teeth are quite straight already, but at certain places there are gaps... not really big lah, but still.... noticeable to me...

two more months then I no need to pay instalment already!!!!! hehehehehehehehe.....


erm... itu picture let me find 1st ya...

anyway, just ask you guys' opinion lah... if I post those before and after pictures on the 1st post, would that be helpful??

I dreamt I ate a burger, then I saw all my bracket "terlekat" at the burger!!!


I think maybe we tooooo worried that the bracket might come out... that's why got these kind of dreams??

well, since the day 1 i wear braces, the pieces of backet did drop out after eat hard food..i think got 3 incident at different month till now.. So, u guys better becareful with hard food As back to visit doctor without appointment, need to Q for long time

Hi guys,

Went to my first appointment this morning, had an X-RAY + teeth-moulding(?) + consultation.

I like the dentist, he seems very friendly and fun. Maybe because I was the first patient of the day, so he was energetic?

Is it me, or the teeth-moulding feels fun?

I like it when my teeth got sinked into the clay. Cold yet comfortable

Can't wait for next appointment

still the freakin internet problem isnt done yet..so here i am...writing with my freaking friends laptop,goin online in starbux..this suck big time..

Anyways..
i went for my first appointment last thursday...so its been a week now..1 Month and 1 Week in Braces!
heres the good part..I SEE MOVEMENT!! MUhahahahha god i love my braces now.
And during the appoinment,i didnt get my wire changed,but instead.i got powerchains!!
Dr said that he wanted to focus on pushing my potruding teeth inwards nowand my next appoinment is next month.huhuhuh.

i only got powerchains on my uppers tho,the bottoms are untouched.
And and just two days after getting them,i accidently ate Nasi Lemak (it was freakin irresistable T.T) . The next thing i know,my powerchains stained.but its subtle.i kina regret having what i had.I Tried brushing almost 3 times but its still there.SIGH..

but it wasnt that obvious tho..huhuh...
before the appoinment,i got like a ulcer-massacre in my mouth.i guess its cuz the teeth moved.

ill be updating again soon,huhuhuh u guys take care.im sooooooooooooooooooooooo hyped to see movement!!

See, as i said.. in 3 month times, u will see something noticeable.. if ur case is not serious, in 5~6 month time, ur teeth will straight. The rest of time is fine tuning phase and close gap within teeth.

I had mine for 3 weeks now. Didnt see any movement yet tho. I looked at myself everyday in the mirror in hoping that i will see miracle. :'----(
I think my gums are too old and stubborn that its not willing to let my teeth move.

Cant wait till my appointment early next month. I think the glue that were used to hold the brackets were stained...So its a bit yellowish now... Dunno how to get rid of it...

last night,another accident happened,i ate sumthing with a bit of curry poweder in it
and now,my powerchains are light yellowish green!!

but,i guess bcz of the movement i see,i dont really mind it stained,nov 13th(my 2nd appointment) isnt too far away from now anyway.
owh and here i am again,in college using my friends lappie..can things get any worst (first it was the internet,and then my laptop died,now what)

about the teeth dreams,i had them alot too..but they were wayy scarier...theyre like,theres one dream i remember,in the dream,dr was taking my wire off,and my teeth all fell off jst like that!!! ...i guess everyone had these dreams,cuz the braces were in our heads the whole time you know.

Speaking of the movement,my bottoms are kinda stubborn,no movement yet.huhuhuhu cant wait!!

anyways,the glue will stain,mine stain,and i dont brush after meals,i just gargle water and spit out.But then,after brushing before sleep,they'll be okay again.You have to brush twice a day.

Nikki,ur teeth feels loose now rite? chill,its just been 3 weeks,there'll be movement.the next thing you know,they'll be shifting!

err.. as for me, initially the power chain is grey in colour, but two weeks later it will change to yellowish-green.

normal, I suppose??? I wonder they have blue or not leh????

last time my last molars are also not bonded until a few months later... maybe Dr. waited until it's "tall" enuff to fit the brackets??

*Shame* I dont brush everyday after meal. Cos i dun want to mafan and bring toothbrush to work. But I brush twice a day like everyone else. Especially after dinner at night.

I gues the yellowish stain are caused by the things i eat. Often eat food with dark soya sauce. And i have to drink tea everyday. But now that i notice the color of the glue, i will gargle everytime after tea and food. And i brush my teeth longer now to pay more attention on my front teeth. I heard that baking soda can help to reduce the stain. Dunno whether is it true or not. Let me try and i let you guys know...especially Ronnie. Always ter-eat something with bad coloring.

Nope my teeth or not loose yet. Its not jelly-soft moving like some of you described. Like i said, maybe its stubborn. But i do get a spongy feeling when i clench my teeth. As if the teeth had sunken into the gum. I also realised that either my gums had grow bigger or my teeth had sunken. Cos my teeth had become smaller. Especially those at the back.

Then, i dunno whether is just me or maybe some of you encounter the same problem as mine. What happen was... my gum will bleed very often. Not sure whether it's normal. Especially when i wakes up every morning. When i spit out my saliva, its bloody. Sorry if i gross you out. But i just need to know... Am afraid that my gum are too weak if none of you all face the same problem.

It's about one week away till my next appt. Hope will see results. Ronnie, Why is your appt so near? i mean.... i waited so long until my first adjustment but yours are like...so fast...

I don't have the bleeding problem.. You may check with Doctor on your case.

Normally, the appointment is every month. For my case, it always first Tuesday of the month.

Do u take leave to go for appointment? I actually prefer Saturday. I mean, i fixed it on saturday so if 4 weeks later i will go for the following saturday, which is this saturday. This time, i will ask doc to cut my wire shorter. U know? i havent live a day without the dental wax. The wire is really sharp. 2 days ago when i was trying to stick the dental wax on, i use my fingers to feel it...the sharp part. It poke my finger and it bled.
