i only c improvement 2-3 months after having braces on. be patient...

i jst noticed 1 of my bracket came off, jst called dr. how clinic to make appt to fix it back, but the earliest available slot is 20 may. so my next appt will b on 20 may noon.

then i've another appt on 25 may morning to extract my wisdom tooth... feel a bit paranoid...

Sometimes, Dr will ask u whether u wanna extract first since u're already there...

During my time also.... terpaksa go one week b4 actual appt. Then he ask me if i wanna extract it there and then...but i didnt cos too panic.

i cannot extract on 20 may, coz i've to attend a wedding dinner on 22 may. if he ask me if i want to extract there n then, i'll insist wait until 25 may

Hehe...okok...good choice. U dotn wanna go wedding dinner with two pieces of cotton stuff in your mouth.

No worry on the extraction, my friend did extact wisdom tooth by Dr How on 3 weeks ago. Morning extracted, afternoon can eat as usual. She said didn't feel anything during the extraction but she just take one tab of pain killer provided by Dr. How. When the anaesthesia is over, she also didn't feel anything pain..

Added on May 13, 2010, 2:27 pmIt won't la.. Most of time, the cotton can throw after 1~2 hours of extraction. The wound will stop bleeding.. Just don't "suck" internally within 48 hours will do.. I believe you able to attend wedding dinner without problem if your extraction is on morning or noon time.


You know, i had serious "operation" to inplant 2 tooth, whereby Dr. How inplant 2 screws into my gum and sew back the wound on phase 1. Surprisingly, I didn't feel any serious pain after the anaesthesia. Just as usual and didn;t caused any uncomfortable. May be due to new medicine of anaesthesia or skill of Dr. How ? I don't know..

So, guys.. Don't worry on extraction of tooth la..

↲I am doing implant for teeth that extract by previous dr. When i am standard 6.

the bracket that came off last week is hurting my gum a lot, i called up trying to make appointment earlier than 20 may but i was told that 18-19 may is really packed... sigh...

poor you :-( why not you just walk in. i'm sure they can spare you a few mins to fix it.

i asked "don't even have any single small available slot? i don't mind going early in the morning. anytime will do". she still said no.... really full... sob sob...

poor thing...sometimes when they say full, meaning it's really full. Imagine with appt also have to wait one hour...

my both inner jowl kena poke by wire for few day already Since u guys said it full, then i no need to ask.. keep patient till next appointment .

i called again today. she say i can try to walk in. maybe can slot me in. i plan to go there and wait, if really cannot wait then only give up.

looks like i'm in the same situation. one of my wire came out! during brushing......just called them around 8pm jst now. the lady asked me to come at 7.45pm tomorrow.

when brushing, i don't dare to brush too hard cause scare the bracket come off. each bracket will be charged rm50. how much dr how charges?

also, you guys using mouth rinse right? which mouth rinse are you guys using? how much per bottle?

bracket come off won't charge as long as u still keep it. if u lose the bracket, then need to charge.

i'm using oral-b. recommended by dr. how, because it's non alcoholic. i forgot how much i bought per bottle, stock up a lot at home during promotion.

Added on May 19, 2010, 1:19 pmi just came back from dr. how's. i walked in n waited for less than an hour. surprisingly, faster than with appointment, hahaha... settled my lose bracket and changed the wire for lower jaw.

anticipating for my wisdom tooth extraction next tuesday!
