I think u can ask any ques that u would wana know.. I asked my doc why my teeth so ugly..wut caused it like tat..hows the result would be after finishing my braces..how long is the process...how many tooth need to be extracted.. and she also explain to me on all types of braces that I can choose and decide... anything lah...

Juz stay calm...nth is so scary if u think for ur future beauty sake...start dreaming now that how would u look like when u take off ur braces.... then u wont scared of anything and very berani d...!!!

okok..thanx What your doctor said when u asked why the teeh is ugly? and i heard some adults need to go through jaw surguery in order to correct their bites and it seems scary

Hmm... she said its bcos of my structure of the lower bone of my mouth is too small and too inside (duno how to describe n wut words to use hope u understand:blush:), so the teeth have no space to grow, then my teeth bcome protruding and hv crowded teeth. The bone can be adjusted by the time at 9-10yrs old if consulted by doctor...cos during tht time our bone is growing, if notice our teeth is going senget, then doc can help u to pull the bone out n things like tat... Since I'm so old d now ..nth can be done except wearing braces to correct it lor... And my doc also told me our gene affects too... meaning tht if our parents teeth is senget, the chance that their children having ugly teeth is higher as well...haha


This coming Sat will hv appointment with my ortho.... kinda gan jiong wut she would do on me....

oic. .my parents and siblings all have nice teeth except me so i was having a hard time explaining this braces thing to my parents. They don't understand my feeling and didn't support at first but now they object no more coz i'm using my own money haha

just got my braces installed two days ago and i'm getting ulcers already!

is it normal to get ulcers and the braces is actually hurting my lips.. what can i do about this?

What type of braces are u using?
If u hv dental wax, just roll a small portion of the dental wax and stick it on that particular bracket tat scraped your lips/skin, to pretend further irritation. To treat your ulcer, use bonjela or ointment that your doctor gave you to treat your ulcers.

Just in case if your doctor didnt give u any dental wax or ointment, Mayb you can call up your clinic to ask for help?

Anyone here know wuts the diff between Damon 3 and Damon MX?


One of the bracket of my upper teeth tertanggal today... So i called up my ortho and she told me that my lower teeth is using Damon MX whereby upper one is using Damon 3... She said Damon 3 easily tertanggal so she will replace me the bracket with Damon mx...

yup i have the dental wax but then im afraid i will accidentally swallow it when i'm eating or drinking something..

am using the self-ligating one which i think it's also known as the damon one rite..

also, i'm feeling the pain already which i guess my teeth is starting to move rite? i can hardly eat anything

by the way, the whole process costs me about RM5600 inclusive of tooth extraction and xray..not sure if the retainer is included or not..

is the price reasonable? didn't really do much research on the price though..

I think for damon is consider cheap cos I did mine for 5.8k excluding retainer, xray and extraction...

maybe it varies depending on the location and the clinic itself.. but i think the price for damon also should be around there right from what i see from the reviews from some of the people who had braces before..

where did you do yours? RM5600 is considered quite cheap. how's orthodontic quoted me RM6000, excluding xray, mold and photos. i've made appointment with how's orthodontic tonight. if i can find a cheaper place before that, i might change my mind
