QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Oct 3 2018, 07:54 AM) Not sure if it works that way, previous month cashback will be debited into his statement this month but i dont think they will allow u to get more than RM50/month cashback. In other words u start with RM0 cashback it will not become RM-10 cashback so you can claim until RM50 (RM60) if you get what i mean. The cashback MBB counts is from net spend. So if he spends 1250 and gets back 250 refund his net spend is 1000 (RM50 cashback). Nothing to do with getting more than RM50 in the month or starting from RM-10. Of course for AMEX this only applies to weekend, but for Barcelona already this has caused loss of CB for people with big refunds. This post has been edited by LostAndFound: Oct 3 2018, 09:24 AM

Does it matter when the refund is? You still need to spend RM1000 to get max RM50 cashback then only it will deduct the refunded cashback from previous month. eg RM50 cashback - RM5 (from refunded cashback) = RM45 cashback you earn this month. You get what i mean?

I guess I’ll just do a RM1000 spending this month and see how much cash back I’ll receive. Will share the results.

Similar to the discussion above, as well as discussed previously on Barcelona card. When we received VAT refund via CC (from overseas), ie to M2C (Visa/Amex), will it deduct your TP (same like refund)? May not be using the same card for purchase. I think for Barcelona card, it does reduce the CB. Never tried on MBB card, but AMB will not deduct your points.

QUOTE(glauncher @ Oct 3 2018, 10:31 AM) Thanks, maybe temporary error. I try again later. I just checked. Nothing changed. Make sure you choose "Telekom - Tel and Multimedia" (Not Telekom - Unifi). Remove "-" from your Streamyx account. Use M2U Classic if you experience an error using new M2U. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Oct 3 2018, 10:43 AM

Then check your refund is by Reversal (ie same transaction date but different post dates, debit in Aug & credit in Oct) or a new retail transaction (new transaction date - Oct date). If the first one, most likely you need to spend RM1250 on weekends, otherwise you may get a "Negative" rebate for Oct. If the second one, most likely you just need to spend RM1000 only on weekends.

QUOTE(mamamia @ Oct 2 2018, 03:42 PM) Conversation with CS: Me: I want to transfer my BT installment from m2visa to m2amex Cs: reason? Me: I plan to cancel m2visa Cs: when u want to cancel? Me: next month Cs: u need to cancel now only I can help to transfer the BT to amex Me: ok, please proceed to cancel and transfer BT installment Cs: what is the reason? Me: I don’t want to pay SST CS: understand, will proceed to terminate with immediate effect and please settle the outstanding today, BT installment will be transfer to AMEX within 5 working days. Thanks, glad to know that this is consistent with my experience with the CS. Otherwise I'd think the CS was just trying something 'funny' when he insisted that the visa/mc must be cancelled immediately before he can proceed with the request to transfer all oustanding installments to the amex card, since nobody else reported on something similar here..

QUOTE(1hoohoo1 @ Oct 3 2018, 11:39 AM) Update on fpx transaction using Amex. After I emailed to Maybank CS, they finally give me the 5% cash back (though they didn't update me about the cash back through email). I notice only when checking the statement balance.
How to use Amex on fpx transaction? I thought can only use CASA as in this t&c from MBB: This model facilitates payments by retail customers. A common use case is an individual customer having an Internet Banking account with one of the FPX participating banks purchasing goods / services or paying bills online from a participating Seller, debiting from his/her current or savings account. https://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...al/ACC-Accounts

So meaning FPX must call them to manually give cashback?
