OR is it because we did not call cs to activate the paywave functions features although the card has paywave logo?

PAYPAL Rule of thumb:
PAYPAL + Amex + RM = no go
PAYPAL + Amex + foreign currency = good to go
PAYPAL + Visa/Master + RM/foreign currency = good to go

Amex for Paypal local purchase cannot be use. The card not availale for selection.

dont think you can get 3 x credit limit increase. Just pay with cash, RM50 compared to 20% discount of RM15k is just a small amount

He can pre-pay, not an issue. Just must do from other banks or cash deposit machine, can't do via M2U.

Just need to make sure amount shown on M2U is -10k (so deposit cash or transfer from other bank enough to reach that) then will be able to swipe. No need credit limit increase. Still better than paying with cash.

First sentence yes, that's one way. Easier way in my opinion is just to do 'CC payment' from any other bank (other than MBB) account, for the amount of 10k.

Regarding whether PTPTN can use Amex, I can't confirm, I did not take PTPTN loan for my studies and hence never paid back to them. I've seen others post in this thread that can, but myself can't confirm la.
