did u complain to MBB CS & get the TP deduction cancelled?

Hi Sifus, I recently upgraded my Gold card to Platinum but is pending courier delivery to the branch.

I upgraded mainly due to Gold card expiring this year and increase in salary.

Question: According to the branch, I need to write in to the TP center to transfer my TP in gold to platinum but is subject to their approval.

Has anyone does this process before?

does the new Plat card appear in m2u?

if yes, perhaps call CS instead to request transfer TP to Plat.

afaik, it shoud be automated, but no harm calling CS to reconfirm/request to transfer of TP.

Yes, it did appear but the branch staff advise to wait till I receive the card only contact the CS as I do not know the full card number.

5X TP just reduced today due to refund from lazada, txn posted on 9 Apr (Tue)

initial lazada purchase posted on 10 Mar (Sun), already earned the CB last month.

Anyone saw the the T&C?

I made a payment on agoda on 23/3/24 around 1am++

But in statement it come out on 22/3 and stated London in the line.

And i didnt get cashback for this. Is this intended for overseas transactions? Or can i file a claim with maybank?

To get weekend cashback, the "Transaction Date" must be Saturday or Sunday.

You swipe your card at 5pm+ 22/3 (Fri) London time. The. "Transaction Date" was Friday.

Maybank may be stingy in credit limit, annual fee/SST waiver
but generous with cash back that u deserve
just requires a little extra effort

if payment for utilities fall on weekend, does it means we dun get 1x TP as well?

just to confirm since TP is on weekdays and cash back is on weekend.

Correct, if weekend got cashback, no TP. But utilities no cb anyway.

might want to go PBB Islamic Visa Platinum for TNG reload

then from there pay utilities ... 4% - 1% is still better than RHB Shell I guess since no tiered spending

Has anyone change your credit card details in Google before? I got charged twice by Google Services, amounting RM4 each. After checking, I suspected one of the transaction is a fraud due to the terminal ID 1234.

Due to this, I quickly cancelled my subscription, removed my card from Google and temporarily block my card. Then called MB CS to filed a dispute investigation.

RM 4 looks to me as just a card adding fees, which will be refunded later. Just to confirm the card is working. Nothing alarming.

Yes that was what I thought as well. But for the second transaction and after checking with MB, they told me the first transaction under Google Services London has credited the amount to me but for the second transaction still remain debited from my card.

Slightly off topic, my old gold amex card recently received unauthorised transaction without secure2u approval for overseas transaction amounting USD9 and their terminal ID 1234 is the same ID as the fraud google service transaction.

That's why would like to check whether has anyone encounter any similar issue when saving your card payment in Google? Cause now I am scare to put my card details in google even thought I want their google storage and youtube subscription. sighhh
