i) I'm currently holder for Maybank 2 Gold AMEX. The Visa card had been cancelled because I registered before SST came into effect and hence its a valid reason for me

ii) Now I would like to upgrade to Platinum, will I still get AMEX only or it will come with a new Visa/MC as well? Can I make a call to upgrade or have to walk in to card centre?

iii) My AMEX Gold currently have an ongoing EPP. Do I have to settle the full amount before upgrade or can transfer over to the new card after upgrade?

Need advise sifus, cash back on weekend is 5%, max rm50 a month if I'm not wrong. Its mean equal to purchase of RM 1000. Does this mean purchase over 1000 it is better to get TP on weekday rather then CB on weekend?

not really. amex has 5% cashback on weekends whereas only meagre points on weekdays. thus the question.

I am new to credit card. I just buy oppo x3 worth rm1k using shopee ezy pay 0% interest.

That makes my statement balance high. I read somewhere if i dont clear statement balance, i will be charge of interest?

1)Is that true even though i use ezypay 0% interest?

2) Can i just let the statement balance like that and just pay my normal shopping statement + ezypay installment?

3) Since the statement balance is mix of my normal shopping and the total amount of ezypay, where can i check how much i need to pay each month to avoid any interest?

Any1 notice the M2U schedule payment problem? statement due on 10/1 and alrd set the schedule payment on end of Dec, but 11/1 check and no payment made to the statement even the balance inside account is enough.

Nonetheless, you must have accumulated significant amount of treat points to make it work.

1/2 (weekday) = make purchase of RM1k, floating amount in MBB records
1/2 1-2mins after 1st step = request refund, MBB still floating
3/2 (weekday) = This part see if Lazada wants to make settlement or not. Let's go with make settlement. U earn 5000 TP.
4/2 = lazada realised u refunded. they credit back 1k to your cc
5/2 = MBB claw back ur 5000 TP

Normally the original payment transaction is reversed so the transaction date remains unchanged, no impact on cashback unless cross month.

However, Lazada's Finance dept is too lazy to process the reversal, they create another payment transaction but with credit amount, still zero sum for 2 unrelated Amex transactions.

Changing from Gold to Platinum does not necessarily gives u higher CL automatically.

So in theory, if i make 100 transactions of RM0.20 each (all in same month) , shld get RM 1 monthly cb   

What convenience could you possibly get with a useless VISA card with no benefits at all?  C'monlah chacha your reasoning makes no sense. The cashback is as good as either the Affin Duo or the PBB Quantum without any minimum spending per swipe or other restrictive T&C and you're saying it's peanuts. Might as well cancel it entirely instead of paying the RM25 SST every year for the useless half of the cards.
