Letting go/trade-in for the CX-60

How much did you trade in for?
Your method of buying/selling after the 5 year free maintenance does look like a good idea.

Long term owners,

Any issues with your CX-5?
What's the total damages in terms of wear & tear after 5 years?
Still seeing a lot of facelifted CX-5s around.

Recently tested the CX-60 from Glenmarie branch. It felt less powerful and probably a fuel guzzler too but the interior is quite plush for the price.

Which engine variant you are eyeing for? NA, Turbo, diesel?

I've been using CX5 2.5NA for almost 5 years. So far have only paid for wear & tear items such as wipers, tires, brake pads. Items replaced under warranty - bushes, absorber mount, driver seat frame. Overall pretty solid and problem free Japanese make that drives like a conti.
Booked a CX60 and looking forward for it - test drove it and I feel the power is adequate but off course cannot compare the CX5 2.5NA as it is about 150kg lighter.

Very good car. Has been owning a 2.0 CX-5 for 8 years. So far nothing major but the usual wear and tear. Usually the common issues are the side mirrors and lower arm bar.

Hi sifu, I’d like to ask about the CX-5 2.0 High. Are the car tints security or break-proof?
Also, does the dash cam installed by Mazda include both front and rear cameras? What’s the maximum microSD card capacity it supports?

Can anyone share their fuel consumption and reviews?

front two driver and passenger, should have security tint.

Not sure about the 2.0 but these apply to the 2.5T. This is the tint Bermaz uses: https://ice-u.com.my/activ-e/
The Bermaz dashcam has both front and rear cameras and mine currently has a 256GB microSD no issues although it's a pain to search for recordings when it fills up and the official Bermaz dashcam software is not as good as 70mai's. There is a 3rd party app that can detect the Bermaz dashcam but you've gotta pay to use their advanced features.

the main drawback of this stock tint is the windscreen tint, which offers at Infrared Rejection 55% mainly and Total Solar Energy Rejection 34%. While rest windows and rear at 97% IRR. Best to just change the windscreen tint only at outside and dont remove all tint cz Mazda buyer already paid for these mandatory accessories (tint & carpet)
