Just booked mine and got a very good discount..
For the other models, was told that they are holding back their 2020 cars to clear their 2019 stocks.

The 2020 car is available now. Was told that limited to the 2.5T model only.

I got similar offer for 2019 car. But wasn't interested as I personally feels that it is not worth for "one year old car" Was talking to Mazda pre-owned cars people and was told that it is 20k discount for their one year old cars.
As for the 2020 car, got 2k rebate. But the best part was that I got the best trade in for my car. Was asking around and my SA got my trade in price by an additional 2k from all those others that I went to. So all in all it was a great deal. QUOTE(SSJBen @ Feb 21 2020, 09:31 PM) Man, you guys were right. The front WS sky tint is horrendous. Why the F did they go for such high VLT anyways? On my current car, I am using Huper Optik. It is good. Now considering between Haverkamp, Hamel and Huper Optik. What tinting did most of you guys go with? Is the skytint so bad? |

QUOTE(CaptianKirk @ Feb 22 2020, 12:41 PM) Hello , From what I understand from my SA, they are trying to push out their 2019 cars. To the extend of giving additional RM2k (from the usual RM2k plus Llumar security tint and coating) Totalling RM6.8k if register car within this month. I have enquired around for CX5 , seems 2020 stock will be available only from April except Turbo,T2.5 2020 is available but no discounts . And they are pushing all their 2019 stock , is that true ? Depending which dealer you go to, if you insist on the 2020 car, they can also get. Business what. As for the 2020 car they are giving RM2k |

QUOTE(47100 @ Feb 24 2020, 12:27 PM) Should we all do something about this?Maybe lodge a complain with the national consumer complain. We are forced to pay for something which is not really serving its purpose. End up we have to pay extra to change the sky tint to something more effective and serve its purpose. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Mar 6 2020, 04:52 PM) Which variant are you using. Go for a test drive yourself and judge for yourself. Different people will have different expectations. I am sort of keen on the Cx5 but stll unsure whether the 2.0 GLS is powerful enough to move the car as I do like to speed occasionally. The difference between the 2.0 and 2.5 is only like 20k but of course the running cost such as road tax and tyres will cost more. Can anyone know the price differences between the 17 and 19 inch tyres Looking at YouTube review on malaysia most is done on the 2.5 or the 2.5T or the 2.2TD supposedly most will say its adequate but can it easily hit say 140 to 160 km/h What is the FC of the 2.0 and 2.5 when driven sedately It is difficult to based on others expectation. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Mar 7 2020, 02:35 AM) Hi Ben, many thanks for your feedback Hi cfa28,I was actually thinking about the standard 2.5 and not the turbo version as I know that I won't be able to use the full power in a SUV and with insurance the OTR will be above rm185k which is above my budget Comforting to hear ftom someone who drives a AMG saying that the CX5 2.0 has sufficient power cos most of my friends who drive the 2.0 camry always say its underpowered for sprited drife Well will have to see how the economy pans out before committing to a bulky purchase Hi kelvyn, thanks for your feedback too but its always good to ask realife feed back from current owners too There is a difference between the various CX5 models. Even for the petrol version alone, there are 3 versions. Personally I have test driven the 2.0, 2.5 & 2.5T. Wasn't interested in the diesel version. Getting the Euro 5 diesel can be hassle for me. As for the 2.5 non turbo, the price is slightly lower than the 2.5T. You are looking at a RM14k difference. But for the 2.5T, you get a turbo engine plus other (LDWS, LAS & Active driving display) After driving the 2.0, I personally find it to be under power especially when there is 4 persons in the car. End of day, I decided for the 2.5T Of course the 2.5T will have higher road tax plus costlier tyres. As mentioned by Ben, either you go for the 2.0 (budget constraint and don't mind the power) or the 2.5T. It's all boil down to personal preference |

QUOTE(widget @ Mar 26 2020, 01:38 PM) IIRC, there are 2 hardcopy user manuals when you collected the car. Received 3 "books" when I collected my car.The navigation system manual should be the thinner user manual. 1. Owner's Manual (thick one) 2. Service booklet 3. Mazda Customer service Nothing in any of them about navigation. Maybe will have to call their customer care centre |

You are right. Looks like I am missing this booklet. Will contact them after MCO.Booklet [attachmentid=10459650] Table of Contents [attachmentid=10459651] Page 72: Saving location as Favorite. [attachmentid=10459653] Edit: I'm unsure why the 2 of the images are rotated the wrong way...I've tried to correct and re-uploaded several times.. No luck. Just download and rotate the right way. Guys
Any recommendation for shades for CX5? The tinting that comes with the car sucks. Will the shades be effective to reduce the heat in our hot weather? |

QUOTE(Duckies @ May 17 2020, 01:05 AM) I am using Ninja or Samurai shades (the cheaper version but I can't remember the name) and so far it's quite good. But for front wind screen I did another layer of tint cause like you said the original tint sucks. Thanks. Mind sharing how much for the shades?Do you happens to know if Groovy is the higher price shades? Seems that they are not cheap. RM400+ just for the sides only. Exclude the rear |

They have Mazda, but this is their Body & Paint Shop. I find the Kota Kemuning shop not too expensive and I feel more comfortable la Can share the name of the shop in Kota Kemuning? |
