Mine came with Bermaz front dashcam. That time, SA asked whether i want a full cash rebate or partial cash plus free rear camera. Ended i go for full cash rebate and i bought ddpai z40 dual front + rear dashcam. Quality is way much better than Bermaz one.
There's a rebate promo right now but the package comes with the optional accessories and I'm not sure if the rear camera is the same or linked to the reverse parking camera. I already have a front dashcam and from what you posted it seems that if I can opt out of the Bermaz dashcam it would be the way to go.

Recently changed to Michelin Primacy SUV+, just wanted to get some opinion, the tyres feels more like a comfort type compare to the stock Toyo tyres.

Ya it's comfortable and less noise. I switched to Toyo to try out but Michelin still better.

Yes, Primacy 4+ suv emphasis on a comfortable and quiet ride. Should be same range with R46 IMHO. Just that Primacy 4 suv has more softer compound.

I would say noticeable drop in noise when driving, especially tyre noise.

I saw at Paul Tan website. Mazda slash about RM10K from the cx5 price.
Bring the price back to the 2020 SST tax holiday time.

Guys,

Would like to ask for advice for CX5 2.5T. Milage now is 120k km after 5 years.

1. I changed my transmission fluid at 60k km. Now at 120k km, should I just change the fluid & filter? Or should flush the transmission fluid?
SC advisor said better to flush. But I read that there are risk associated with flushing..

2. SC quoted to change these items. Body, Fuel Filter & Filter Fuel Pump. Parts cost alone RM635.00
Or should change them outside and will cost less in view that the car is after warranty.

3. Seems odd that SC didn't mention need to replace the timing belt.... confused.gif

4. Air cleaner. Should I replace with Mazda air filter or get the after market type?

Thanks in advance.

its using timing chain bro.. however, do check the v-belt (alternator belt).

a decent aftermarket air filter will do the job, branded not cap ayam one. however, if the original air filter's price is not much diff from the oem, just get the original.

1. Just change fluid and filter will do
2. Change outside
3. I remembered I changed 2 belt around 100k km mileage..should be the alternator belt. It's not expensive so just change it

No 1 - u already done atf change at 60k km, so next 120k km mileage, atf + atf filter will do fine.

No 2 - body filter mean aircond filter inside dashboard? If yes, can DIY, buy from shopee. Fuel filter can ask outside workshop for quotation and compare it with Mazda SC. But I bet Mazda SC price are much premium vs other brand.

No 3 - timing chain

No 4 - aftermarket will do just fine.
