I place a booking on the last day of SST exemption. Thus, that's the only discount do I have. Heard some SA in Klang Valley do give you some discount of 500-1000 if you doesn't want their lousy Skytint (cost 2k). Save roughly 2.5-3k.
In my case, it is compulsory to have pay for it (2k) and I gonna replace it with Vkool since Mazda tint is sucks.

I was told the tint was mandatory. Replacing it will again incur the cost of removing it first. Probably Mazda Malaysia’s way of squeezing people here to the max. Not sure if they have this sky tint in other countries.

the skytint is 'compulsary'. unfortunately, there is no way to opt it out and save rm2k. additional discount or freebies are from the SA's initiative.

Definetely they wont allow to remove the mandatory accessories by Bermaz. Skytint - junk, old version carpets, that are paid mandatory by us. Bought family cx5 2.0 high line at Mazda Ulu Kelang Ampang - Act-Chievers Sdn Bhd back then in 2020, SA give rm2k rebates on top of SST waiver.

That the best offer I had that time, there are plenty with rm1k rebates while majority don't give any rebates. Ask SA why, he want to get high sales.

Hi all! I just got my 2.0 high spec 2 days ago.

Today out of sudden the alarm just go off by itself. No special signal at all. Called my SA and he said first time hearing this problem.

Any one has experienced this? Just normal parking my car, only one key next to me on the table. Happened 4th time today and I’m now at service center waiting them to check..

Wife boughted mid grade 2.0 blue CX5 on 30/12/2022, received it yesterday with leather seat and Global tint. Pretty weird to see car with push start but no unlock button on door.

Planning to get coating this week, and safety upgrade later. What about webcam? Better to get installed by pro or install self? Previously only installed on axia and bezza, very scared with expensive car like this.

Is the Leather seats factory fitted or it is fitted by the SA? The keyless entry, i wonder if that can be fitted aftermarket and if the wiring is there or not.

based on the sa topup a bit can get leather seat, not sure if SA doing it or came from factory. He mentioned can add later switches for boot, driver keyless macam mentioned but I forgot.

Alarm will activate when u walk away lock but got occupant in car. When they unlock frm inside car and open door, alarm will go off. Softest alarm tht is

I opted for Sonic Silver. I “upgraded” from a Tiguan 1.4 TSI where the power was good but probably because of the dsg, it surges at you. Feels super good when speeding but not so nice at slow speeds. The CX5 turbo has even more pull but it comes very very smoothly. The test drive made me decide to change up almost on the spot.

The Tiguan corners very nicely but it felt like the suspension setup was harder. The CX5 also corners very well but in a very “matured” manner? Can’t think of a way to describe it but it doesn’t feel like I’ve given up anything at all when it comes to this.

Umm I’ve asked this before but is there a WhatsApp or telegram group for cx5 owners that I can join?
