Agree with you Voncrane, the auto hold feature should be switch on (more useful) & istop disable by default respectively.

Speaking of istop i don't normally use this function & tried it yesterday in a long traffic jam. I was shocked the engine rattled & came alive after about 1 min i enabled istop. is this normal? i thought the engine will turn on only when we press the accelerator.

I also hate the istop light is always on the dashboard (amber - disable & green - enable). seems a bit cacat it is the only indicator light to be always lighted on the dashboard.

Rattling here and there. Not sure if the NVH is too good so can listen to all these small rattling sounds 

Switch it to Trip A or Trip B then tekan and hold for a short moment.

Select Trip A or B.. Press and hold down the info button till it beeps and resets..

Which trip meter you wanna reset?

I believe you can only reset for TripA and B...not the total Trip

Guys, I've got a problem which is after I release the center rear seats down and now I can't put it back up. Anyone have encounter this problem or solution to it?
Still haven past 24hrs and the car already got problem... 

It's not tht im not pushing hard enough, its the center rear seat doesn't attached to the left rear seat plus it doesn't hv the "click" sound when its attached like the one on the left and right rear seat. Im guessing something jammed inside the lock, will take to SC tomorrow to hv a check  ...
Oh BTW, do you feel the factory fitted powerboot opening and closing sound is loud?

Nope.. Remains at ideal revs of around 750. I doubt it even moves when the aircon compressor kicks in or off..

TBH, I don't really feel any unusual vibrations except upon engine startup. After that, it's pretty much even. Just the grunt of the engine. Especially as I don't use the istop feature either. Don't mistake vibrations with sounds yah.. Tell you what, I'll monitor mine later this evening and report back.

Hmm. Happening every so frequently.. Means If present, I should be able to detect it often too.. Easier to diagnose then.. Will check and see how..

So I've checked and only extra vibrations I can detect is a slight one, from the aircon compressor kicking in and out every 20 seconds. Switching off the aircon and i don't feel the slight vibrations anymore. Testing was done after a sufficient drive with temp at normal 100 degrees and gear in park. Did in a quiet car park and forced myself to listen and feel harder than I've ever bothered to with any car.. But still.. NVH was perfectly fine by me. 

I concur.. Silly Mazda logic.. At least, give people option to set how they want..

I understand why the istop feature or similar is there and why it's auto on upon each start. Primarily to get better mileage and score on emissions tests. Not saying they shouldn't ship with it. They should still do so as some people love it. Just offer the option to switch it on or off at will.. Kinda like ECO mode on some cars. You push the button or enable within settings to activate it and it does its thing.

Need to check the settings later to see if LDWS can be disabled or muted.. If it's not officially possible, then have to seek out unofficial means. I know of none at the moment as I prefer both kept on as possible safety measures.. One never knows.

BUT, there is another not-so-annoying way to do so. Just uncheck the intervention, and set your LDWS mode to vibration. So it wont be that annoying, just feels like phone in silent mode.

Anyway this car sucks for me, some of you might remember me complaining about rattling, vibration sound earlier.... after 1st service, managed to fix the dashboard one... but now other sound (at least 3 different spots?) coming from god knows where behind / side like a damn vibrating cellphone

I damn sayang this car like a little princess, won't even rev it so much or go too fast, every week wash

Mazda Jln 222 warranty process also a bit lame... unfriendly SC person... when I got back my car it was >40km additional driven (nevermind that) but greasy fingerprints everywhere inside and outside. I was supposed to get a free car wash with first service but what I got back was a partially fixed car with various flora on my windshield. Also, sand and pebbles on the 2 front passenger seat.

Not to mention, they left a very noticeable scratch on my gear panel (need to wait 3 months to order parts).

I lodged a complaint with their CS on all the above, so far just got to wait and see what kind of feedback they will give.

Just now check out CX5 at IOI city mall. Damm salesperson said mazda if u buy beginning, mid or end of year also no discount but they give u quality.
