I am not a buyer, I happen to perused a copy of the DMC when a relative of mine let me had a go on the DMC as I was curious about the enforceability of those rules. There are plenty of examples where those DMC's rules are not complied with in Eco Sanctuary.

At the end of the day, once ECW has washed their hands, they wouldn't give a damn in enforcing those rules enshrined within the DMC as long as the house sells. Especially in the current market.

It isn't fancy, except for the sales gallery and inflated price.

May I know which house did you bought? So that we can understand your preferences?

How is that going to spice up the discussion?

Who is "we" in this context?

I don't want to spice up anything, just want to see your opinion from your point of view.. 'We' in my mind, is people who bought the house in EG..but that's just in my mind, so you can ignore it..

This is suppose to be the "Bread and Butter" or rather "Affordable" version of Eco World products, the ethos are shined through in the form of more modest landscaping and the absence of club house.

Unlike the usual EcoWorld offerings, e.g. Eco Majestic, Eco Sanctuary, Eco Ardence where every single prescint is equipped with a resident only "Club House". The location of EG doesn't help either, it's leasehold, it's faraway from most job dense locations, the only fancy thing about this development is the brand name associated with the developer, hence the fancy sales gallery and inflated price. If SP Setia, Sime Darby and other GLCs developers were akin to H&M or Uniqlo, then Eco World is definitely Gucci or Prada at the very least. Quoting my wife, "One shouldn't expect a cashmere scarf at H&M to be sold at the same price of a cotton scarf from Gucci".

I initially didn't want to say anything cuz, meh.. all devs are prone to criticisms and a fair share of .. How shall I put it nicely.. "Bitter blind? naysayers" Apt.. Now, I too am interested in what property you bought for own stay and it's atas or to use your words, non-bread & butter levels..

You might want to update yourself as to the absence of a residents only club house.. Norton Garden will come with it's very own exclusive club house. At least you acknowledge it's on Gucci & Prada level.. As for your wife's quote about scarfs.. She's absolutely correct.. However, you see, the Perodua Myvi ships with leather seats.. The Rolls Royce Wraith and Ghost series also ship with leather interiors.. Between the both, it should immediately be apparent to you, which is the proper premium feel.. So obviously, they both won't cost the same.. smile.gif Hope these are self-explanatory and I do not have to return to explain in simpler terms that metaphors are being used. Some common sense required. icon_rolleyes.gif

I agree to disagree with your opinion.. Yes, EG should be at par with other EW projects in the term of club house etc..but for Avenham and Graham buyers, the price is good enough for us to buy one without the perks of the clubhouse.. I never buy any cashmere scarf, as all of my money habis already to pay for EG.. Let alone Rolls Royce, but I got a Myvi which I gave it to my mom to drive, and she's really happy with it! My point here is, the definition of good /great might be different, one man's poison could be another man's food, thus referring back to my question, "which house did you bought?"

Please do NOT stuff words in my mouth, I have NEVER asserted that EG should be at par with other EW products, saying EG is not at par and saying that it should be at par is entirely different. Please take a reading comprehension class if the Malaysian education system has failed you in doing so.

Please re-read what I wrote in my previous reply and do not mince my words, it's a cardinal sin to spin the truth, there's nothing wrong in buying anything that is reasonably priced like a terrace house, but this development's price point is off, you wanted opinion, I gave you one. If EW's product is a Gucci scarf, then this is akin to selling genuine Gucci scarf in pasar malam. Bizarre, but it happens.

Let us re-visit your question, for future reference, the proper way of asking is "Which house did you buy?". Since this is in the context of EG, I believe I have already answered, if in doubt, please revisit the second sentence at the first paragraph of this post. You're welcome.

That was English, as much as this is. For someone who's asking another to take a comprehension class, you appear to need it the most. icon_rolleyes.gif
