Got myself a Dell 2407HC. Received it last Friday. Using it for my console. Accessed the service menu, and it shows V1B07 on the left side, and DR880 on the right side. Not sure which panel it is using.

*Will be malaysia 's first 32 incher lcdtv feature a 1080p res support and most likely 1:1 pixel mapping too (if its native res at 1080p, does it have enough pixel of a 32 incher to have native??).. and among others features , htcp, attractive price since its a 32 incher...

*IPS-Alpha LCD panel; V-real II LCD technology; 100Hz Motion Picture Pro; photo viewer; SDHC card slot; dual HDMI terminals.
*Audio Surround effects Smart sound speaker system.
*Additional features 2 x woofer; 4 x tweeter.
*Video input S-video, VGA, Composite video, Component video,HDMI
*Contrast ratio 8500:1
*6ms response time; 178-degree viewing angle; HD-ready.

Dubbed 100Hz Motion Picture Pro, it doubles the onscreen picture frame rate, theoretically delivering smooth and sharp motion visuals. In the same light, its V-real engine has also been overhauled with the 1080p standard. This generation-two processor now accepts high-quality video signals while processing them in their native formats without introducing performance-detrimental down-conversion  shakehead.gif  shocking.gif , etc

The specs look great, but man that's one decidedly unsexy bezel.

I am eying for ViewSonic VG2030wm 20.1" WS. Is it a good LCD in general? Any problem with that model?

btw, from what I see in viewsonic web, they have 4 lines of LCD, VA,VG,VX and VP
I want to know is there any difference between VX and VG aside ftrom design?
nowadays is hard to find 20"widescreen sweat.gif

VX has a much better design, while VG has that ugly looking speaker strip at the bottom. Most importantly, 20.1" WS VX series uses MVA panel, while the VG model you mentiont uses TN panel. TN panel has very low response time, but color wise not as good as MVA panel.

btw, I am using a ViewSonic VX2025wm 20.1 WS. quite nice.

Try a different power cable. If that doesn't work, ask for a replacement from DELL.

I've call Dell's technical support, she ask me to try unplug all the cables, then press power button for 10 second and plug back the power cord and try. Nop, nothing happen! Then, she tell me to change using different power cord like what kianwee bro said. No way, STILL cannot switch on. Damm, she ended up asking for my details to send a replacement for me... sad.gif My rating for Dell suddenly drop from 10/10 to 5/10! doh.gif
