hhmm... seems it may detected by human's eye. sweat.gif
but if come to a situation, will u guys choose to have a sharper pics but slightly smaller the screen, or blurer pics but slightly bigger the screen?
*
In my opinion, I think I would choose the first option which is 20"WS over 22"WS, like Samsung 206BW over 226BW, smile.gif but the problem is the price which seems to be not very value for money, as RM900 vs RM9++ only! sad.gif No sign of price drop for 20" also!!! cry.gif

I wish to ask fellow sifu how to buy LCD from Dell using Telegraphic Transfer / Interbank Transfers? Is that I need to make the money transfer before I place order (cause at the payment option section, dell is asking for Amount MYR and Transfer/Payment Date, but the order not place yet progress is only 50%) so what should I fill for the date? rclxub.gif Hope someone can help clear my doubt, many thanks in advance. smile.gif

I want to buy 24" dell. can I change it if got 1 dead pixel? and during warranty period?
*
According to previous talk by our forumer, Dell dead pixel policy is minimum 7 pixels, then can exchange. But some said just inform Dell you got more than 7, then you get yours change. (Note: This method is from some forumer, I'm not sure work or not!) smile.gif

Got myself a Dell 2407HC. Received it last Friday. Using it for my console. Accessed the service menu, and it shows V1B07 on the left side, and DR880 on the right side. Not sure which panel it is using.

Hey bro, how many weeks you've waited before you received? smile.gif

I've call Dell's technical support, she ask me to try unplug all the cables, then press power button for 10 second and plug back the power cord and try. Nop, nothing happen! Then, she tell me to change using different power cord like what kianwee bro said. No way, STILL cannot switch on. Damm, she ended up asking for my details to send a replacement for me... sad.gif My rating for Dell suddenly drop from 10/10 to 5/10! doh.gif

Time to invest in a good Backup UPS. I have a 650 APC running for each of my LCDs.

I did have a AVR... unsure.gif By the way, the last part of serial is 1AWL, REV A04, does that mean I get a S-IPS panel? And 1 more question, how long I need to wait again for the replacement to come? smile.gif

Hey guys, my rating for Dell rise back from 5/10 to 8/10, cause just received call my replacement will arrive by tomorrow before 5p.m. woohoo!... thumbup.gif The other 2 point will need to see after I test my monitor to make up 10/10. tongue.gif What can I said, though Dell not really got the best LCD, but their after sell service is very good in my opinion.

By the way, found someone having exactly the same problem as mine. Though his problem seem more serious cause he is having the same problem for 2 of his 2007WFP!

QUOTE(z_westbrook)
The other day all of a sudden my 2007WFP monitor would not power on. Checked power cord, tried new outlet, nothing. Contacted Dell support, they sent out a replacement. Received the replacement, discarded all old cords (power, DVI, usb) and connect new power cord to monitor. Able to turn monitor on, saw "Dell" logo. Turned monitor off, connected all remaining cables. Turned PC, pressed power button on monitor - nothing. Now the replacement is dead as well. What is going on? I have a dimension xps 600 and am using a surge protector. Everything else plugged in is working fine and getting power - just not the monitor. I tried the troubleshooting I found on the forum (remove all cords, hold power button 5 secs, reconnect only power/dvi, turn on pc) but nothing works. I saw some other people with the same problem. Did you get it resolved? PLEASE HELP!!!

Full forum chat:I have 2 dead 2007WFP @ Dell Forums

Hope my replacement monitor work fine and won't end up like this fellow... unsure.gif

Badguy86, How long does it take for Dell to send you the 2007WFP? I mean the point when you first ordered it.
*
Well, is like this: I ordered on 29 June 2007 and also straight away transfer money(*telegraphic transfer may take a bit longer time to track) at same date. 5 July 2007 Dell comfirm my order and estimate delivery date on 11 July 2007. yesterday which is 11 July, I received my order. 12 days as total or 9 working days. smile.gif (*Note: my location is Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia!)

Thanks mate. That's very helpful. Btw, were you at home when the guys from Dell sent your LCD? Is it ok if someone else receive it? I won't be at home at daytime. I seldom order stuffs online so I'm not quite sure of how this sort of thing goes.

Hey, fellow mates, I just received my replacement 2007WFP. Its a refurbished unit I can tell, cause its came with a big box and the stand oredy attached. But still I don't mind so much if only its work and the serial ended with 'L' brows.gif ! One thing I wish to ask, how can I change the resolution to 1280X800 instead of native 1680X1050? My resolution range only from [800X600, 1024X768, 1152X864, 1280X1024, 1600X900, 1680X1050] unsure.gif ? Cause its a bit too small for me with native resolution. smile.gif
