QUOTE(stevenlee @ Oct 12 2007, 06:03 PM) i just own samsung 226bw... Well, there are some sites that are offering some tweaks to play games on WS resolution when the original game does not support. An example here :what is the correct resolution i need to set during my gaming... cos some gaming dont have the native resolution like 1680x1050.. like dota waht resolution need to set?? http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ You will need to do some tweaking and patching before able to play in WS resolution.. |

QUOTE(XxX_hunter @ Oct 9 2007, 10:31 PM) my friend say got L227WT ,new relase from LG and the price is nearly same with 2232BW, are it truth? price is aroung RM1080. i don't think msia will available for the L227WT cuz most of the country on their local distributor release the same model but mod their model naming & colours. i've look few countries that on par with L226WTQ, they really look "different" on certain spec...it got contrast 5000:1 LG Global LG Canada LG HK LG UK LG SG |

hmm using stretched 1680x1050 for dota is not bad either
you have the space to micro bcos of the large surface depend on ur taste off course cons wud be pixelated object but not noticable tho~ |

Dell Release New 22" and 24" Monitors
October 12th 2007 ![]() Above: Dell E248WFP After the recent annoucement of the 20" Dell SP2008WFP screen, which we discussed in our news article here, Dell have now announced the release of a new 22" and 24" model in their range. Details were released yesterday in Japan. The models announced are: Dell E248WFP - 24"WS, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness and 160/160 viewing angles. As many have anticipated, the screen is unmistakedly TN Film. The screen does offer an extended colour gamut covering 92% of the NTSC colour space, an HDCP supported DVI interface (as well as D-sub), and a tilt adjustment from the stand. The retail price in Japan is 68,800 Yen (including tax), with an expected October 23rd release date. ![]() Above: Dell SP2208WFP Dell SP2208WFP - 22"WS, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 2ms G2G response time and 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The rest of the spec is not listed at the moment, but again the screen is TN Film based. This model also offers 92% coverage of the NTSC colour gamut, and comes equipped with a 2MP built in webcam (as with the 20" SP2008WFP), DVI, D-sub and HDMI interfaces. The retail price in Japan is 59,800 Yen and the screen is expected to be released on 11th October. Source: TFT Central |
