dell not the best there is
only that they able to churn out cheaper lcd
and with some marketing strategies

take the 22" vs 24" for instance,
one is ~RM 850 while the other ~RM 2000+
why the huge difference?
well,
one is entry type of lcd
the other is ultrasharp series

with this pairing ppl less knowlegdeable will see the 22" as good buy
those who are informed would go with the 24" of dell or other brands such as samsung, benQ

do some research and you will find the one that suites your intended usage
precise colour reproduction or just a gamer lcd

I'm using 19" DELL and bought it around Rm1000+ last year. It's clear but of course its not the best. You can go for Samsung and BenQ, they got good reputation in LCD making.

Expensive LCD also comes with multiple USB port built-in and other extras as well. Usually expensive LCDs comes with 100% dead-pixel-free warranty.smile.gif

Hi, I just bought a Dell 22" LCD monitor, I notice that for the upper part of the screen is more darker than the lower part. Is that normal? Is my LCD broken?

But when I off my room light then it become better but still can notice a bit upper part is darker than the lower part.

I am new to the LCD world, never use 1 b4... tongue.gif

Faced the same prob with my earlier Dell 24 Ultrasharp. Called Dell and got replacement.
Satisfied with their service n support, bought another one during PC Fair offer for RM1999.

Bought the first one for RM3400.00 (include 3 yrs warranty, 24hrs) + sound bar + not so free, free gist - Linksys wireless AP.

2 months ago bought 2 Acer 22" entry level LCS for RM930.00 ea and compare side-by-side to the 24" Ultrasharp, hmmmmm not really noticable difference xcept the size and resolution.

For the money spent, IMHO the Acer gives more value.

i have a dell 22". works great. i like it better than acer, just for its black frame. acer is slightly expensive, RM30 more.

hi guys, i wanted to get a 22" LCD Monitor. i heard Samsung is actually the best from many sources in terms of monitor n tv (excluding panasonic), is that true?

is there any actual difference between the Samsung 2232BW and 226BW ??? the price is almost the same and so are the specs, more like the design is the only thing that differ between them?

i am kinda interested in the 2232BW, does anyone have any comments on the 22" Samsung 2232BW??
