Try adjusting the brightness via your graphics properties. Or get a pair of Rayban shades.

If you were using DVI previously try manually selecting the input again instead of letting the monitor auto detect. Sometimes the monitor might default back to analogue input so you need to tell it to use DVI.

Go to your Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advanced --> then select the tab with your video card. Then you will see many options related to your video card. In mine there is a section for "Digital Flat Panel Settings" and it's controlled from there. Can you find that section?

I need help with the Dell 2407WFT-HC PC Normal Preset in Service Menu.

I accidentally changed it and it reads as R238 G253 & B234.

Please share with me your default setting.T o do this, turn the monitor off. Now hold down the menu button and the plus button at the same time. While holding the two buttons down turn on the monitor. When it turns on release all the buttons then press the minus button. The Dell hidden menu will then come up and you can see down the bottom it has 2407WFP-HC.
An easier way to tell is the + and - buttons have a little icon next to them that shows contrast and brightness. Normal 2407's don't have those icons.

Please somebody help.
