QUOTE(akachester @ Jun 25 2007, 01:33 PM) Need to ask here before i decided to RMA my LCD.. there is no way you can get a brand new monitor...Is it possible to ask Dell to replace my LCD (since its a 1 to 1 exchange policy from Dell) to a NEW one rather than REFURBISHED unit? I have came across people stating that if you RMA your LCD with Dell, they will exchange it with a refurbished unit which i do not wish to get. Therefore, is it possible to ask them to get me a new unit even if i have to wait?Thanks.. unless your model is really old (like 5 years ago) and they don't have any replacement... if all RMA change to new one, I'm sure there will be 1000's ppl send for RMA every year.... |

if you compare a 32" LCD TV and a 30" LCD Monitor,
first of all you can see that the monitor cost twice as much, secondly the monitor has a ridiculously high resolution, which if you don't have a 8800ultra, don't dream of playing on the native resolution.. if you want to use the monitor for gaming, and u want a big screen, I suggest getting a LCD TV, if you want to use for CAD/gfx design, then I suggest you get the monitor... Note that your comparison in terms of price is totally out of range of this 2.... you should compare a 32" LCD TV with a 24"/27" LCD monitor... |

if you look closely
the 22"wide is actually a 17" normal lcd just that it is strech sideway giving it a 22" size... thus, you get more real estate on 22" normal vs 22" wide |

there is no diff if purchased online or at pc fair... no xtra fee gift
only diff, is that your order is send direct to factory if you purchase at pc fair, meaning faster delivery..... provided you pay by credit card/cash... if bank draft/cheque, still need to wait for it to clear |

i lol at some of the post above...
if you want to compare a 22" and 20", compare the text quality etc... don't even bother to compare viewing angle, color reproduction... it has nothing to do whether it is 22" or 20" at 1680x1050... it's the panel type that makes the difference.... you can have a 22" S-PVA model that pwn a 20" TN panel... or a 20" S-PVA model that pwn a 24" TN panel |

most 32" is lcd tv.... not lcd monitor...
it that sense... its worse than the 22" dell monitor.... when you are doing computing stuff...... |
