X8000G is the successor of the not so well received X8000E back from Sony's 2017 release .
There aren't much difference between the two since Sony is being generous with their basic TV model this year , except for a few minor features like X8000G has bluetooth support , X8000g has 4 HDMI ports while X70G has 3 .
Thanks both, end up I decide go for X70G.
Visit Aeon and surprisedly found 55X7000G now offers 2499 and can get RM245 aeon voucher. End by today only. Anyone want this quickly go get it from Aeon by today. Somemore can do 12 months installment.
What a good deal. I though Lazada 9/9 already cheaper liao, but I was wrong.

Brought a KD-55X8000G in harvery norman, RM3297 + RM350 (extend warranty 3 years), free RM50 voucher if using Maybank CC. Overall is good, just sometime is too bright, need a time to tweak. Connect to Sony HTS E6100 via HDMI ARC, HTS don't have sound, but if connect to optical cable, it got sound. Any idea what wrong ?

FYI, yesterday (9/9) Lazada sell this model around RM2800 or RM2900. 55X7000G for RM2399.
If get e-wallet rebate, voucher + top up rebate. I think can deduce another RM100.

I don't own the TV but I got a chance to tinker around the TV thanks to a generous friend .
The SM9000 is obviously , quite a bit better than both XG85 and GX800 ( especially in dark room ) because it features a full array local dimming system .
I think GX800 is the new sweet spot for mid range TV in Malaysia atm since NU8000 has been discontinued .
It is decently bright ( 400-500 nits ++) , very natural ( and most importantly , Accurate ) color reproduction among the TVs in this price range . Supporting both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision is also a plus . You will not find any better TV at this price range beside NU8000 or when Q70R getting a massive discount , not in Malaysia at least .
Yeah I’m looking at the 55” GX800 as well. Either that or the 49” Q60R. Still deciding
Yeah, i saw it too but i really not confidence with local courier service..lol
After what I saw at their processing hub, I don't dare to order fragile items from lazada. Saw them stack the TV with other heavy stuff like bed frame, the bed frame collapsed on top of the TV....both fall to the floor..the staff just pick it up casually afterward..
I have 2 models in mind. Either Sharp 4TC60AL1X or Sony 55' x750f. Which should i get or any alternative for android tv below 3k with the size between 55 to 60 inch.
I need to replace the old tv for my parents and the way my father enjoy the movies is he used to download the movies with pc and watch it by plugging a usb drive into the tv. So the more codec it supported the better.
Btw the oldman only prefer japanese brand so no Samsung and LG, and i have decide to subscribe netflix on their behalf.
