Yes, the Onyx keyboard switches are interchangeable, same goes to the keycaps

Well to be more specific, the entire keyboard part is interchangeable. Sos? I did the change and now have both boards (and caps).

alternatively you can look for Eluktronics Mech-15 G2, Overpowered 15, XMG Neo 15, Recoil II
all are the same chassis as Onyx

This problem is caused by the "Microsoft Team Installer".
Has done delete it from startup

Yep left is Brown. And yeah, I do prefer the Brown (both switch and cap) to the basic Blue.

That said, TBH my HP Envy 13 keyboard shits all over them both when it comes to heavy duty touch typing for some reason (I'm thinking key separation), but of course the Envy's KBB is not RGB (and keypresses simply feel a lot less satisfying because its not a mech).

For gaming though the Onyx KBB does just fine IMHO.

You haven't tried legendary Thinkpad keyboard when it comes to touch typing. Oh boy - best in class

Agree with this just find it better to use my Thinkpad to type everytime.

I actually have (I've got a whole bunch of old-school IBM TPs from my previous work), but there's no Carbon class unit with an MX150 so I had to skip them this time around (T480 too thick and I didn't want to mess around with eGPUs - I have my Onyx for that).

KBBs on the current TPs I DID test did have better actuation feel then the Envy KBB though (especially the X1C), that I won't deny. But like I said before, it's probably just the chiclet key separation on the Envy (which the Onyx doesn't have) that makes it "feel" better TBH.

I just got my onyx yesterday, I'm trying to update my steam and install my microsoft office 2016 pro plus, but keep getting error logs stating internet connection error. Tried updating my network drives and reinstalling the programs still ain't working. Please help. thanks.

I'm able to connect to the internet and serve the net, the only problem i'm experiencing is when I try to download or update my software. For example, when i try to update my steam, the progress bar goes up gradually and suddenly just backtracks. It repeats several times before the error log appears.

Is Onyx using KILLER Wireless ?

I suggest you to completely uninstall the steam/office and try to re-install again. It seems to be caused by the software rather than the hardware.

No. ONYX is using Intel 9560 AC 2x2.
