every day the machine seems more and more unreliable... so hard to work now. ):

got my laptop in may.. means the update was preinstalled?

Hi kyLL,

Would it be possible if we can have your physical machine to test on your BSOD, power option settings?

For BSOD, we have a few Z7 and RAVEN RMA recently with the exact same problem after updating the windows, the problem is resolved after we revert back to the old windows edition.

For power option settings, we have never heard from other customers, appreciate if you can send to us for checking.

Just got back home and still tweaking and playing around with my Onyx.

Curious, can we charge the laptop using USB C?

Nope. It's not a PD port, also I haven't heard of PD 150w adapters either. Theoretically it's capable but the hardware isn't available.

You can charger other stuff from your Type-C port though.

And I'm actually quite curious about the Windows 10 1803 (aka April Update) update causing issues for others, as I updated mine as well and, other then the WiFi drivers going haywire for a bit, I haven't had any other issues TBH.

Not sure if it's just hardware or my configuration.

Thanks, asking out of a curiosity.

I have PM981 on mine, any software useful for it as Samsung's Magician software doesn't support the OEM drives afaik.

There are Samsung NVMe drivers floating around the Net, those might help a bit (I've installed as I have twin PM951s in mine), but otherwise that's it I guess. No Magician for us OEM folks, unfortunately.

Okay, this is unexpected. Can anyone share what type off card reader is being used and where to get a driver? I tried mine and it doesn't work.

Sounds about right. I reach around those temps too playing Ghost Recon Wildlands for a bit.

Unprecedented Audio with

Sound Blaster Cinema 5
Explore a whole new world of cinematic audio with a built-in Sound Blaster Cinema 5 software where every sound comes to life. Nothing beats audio realism like hearing every gunshot, ever pin drop, and every explosion like it’s happening right in front of you.

Where can I get the software?

It's supposed to be included, somewhere in the start menu. Does make the speakers sound a WHOLE lot better TBH, despite folks downrating "software" solutions like this.

If not, contact the Illegear Support email and they can give you the driver bundle, which includes the SB software.

Hi Eiraku, thanks. If you meant the ONYX.rar bundle, yes I have them installed including the Sound Blaster Connect. Unfortunately it says "your audio device cannot be detected."

You will need to install the audio driver first before installing SB 5

I did that but wasn't working yesterday. Turns out there was 2 updates from Windows that I need to download before can use it properly.
Thanks, sounds is much much better now.
