Onyx owners, anyone can share if there is any decals that we can use for Onyx?

aha! i'm actually custom making one as we speak. will get it by the end of the month hopefully. cross your fingers the size is correct. lol.

Can share where do you do it? I'm thinking to get one, mainly for the palm rest area. Not sure if can get a transparent one as I do fancy the brushed aluminum look.

EDIT: The new Command Center FINALLY fixed the Return/Enter dimness in User Mode, awesome!

nyunyu I DIY-ed mine with translucent CF, palmrests and lid. You can catch a glimpse of it in my Big/Little Beast photo a few pages back (Page 6 I think).

It looks like black CF but the logo shows through (on the lid).

Also, fully transparent vinyl is pretty hard to get right unfortunately. Unless you're really careful, the adhesive streaks and bubbles very, very easily.

Okay, I installed the new command center, monocolor (white) still not in the option? I thought it was being planned?
Don't know if it just me, but I think the updated cc also makes brightness dimmer at lvl 1.

Hi guys, please do report to us if you encounter any bugs with the new command center.

The new BIOS and EC bat files will be available this week, will post it once available.

Yeah, I think it's slightly dimmer too, but that's a good change for me personally.

No white here too though. Maybe next update.

Also, Prince J, the lightbar switch on the first page of the new CC isn't working. It's not keeping the setting though boot. You need to go into the lighting section specifically and turn the bar off there.

Wondering if anyone using the new Command Center?

Seems the KB lighting and screen lighting are dimmer than the previous version at the same settings, though it may just be my imagination.

Also, my backlit cant display yellow colour in this new version, it only becomes orange. (kinda like mandarin orange colour). Waiting for us to be able to pick mono white backlit or even have the option to use white per key when customizing in user mode.

And yeah the LED bar settings will not stick after reboot.

The new command center syncrhonize the keyboard backlit brightness with screen brightness, it increases the battery life significantly.

White KB color is not possible according to the factory and we suggest to use the light blue color as it looks similar to white.

This question might be a dumb one but I just want to confirm, the USB Type C we have on Onyx, does it carry Audio Video?

Anyone using a hub like this can confirm it works?

You will need to hold the power button for at least 2 seconds to boot up the computer, this is to protect you from mistakenly booting up your computer in the backpack / sleeve.

Played with the Onyx color profile today, not sure if it just me or the Onyx color profile really makes the screen yellowish? Are those the profile that has been calibrated (as per order)?

Default windows profile are very bright. So, went ahead and use Aero15x profile (from notebookcheck) and it seems acceptable.

Anyone experience the same?

I'm using the Aero profile myself TBH, after I lost my own customised ICC after a reset. But be sure you're using the Aero 15X V7 profile - the V8 is using a different, 144hz screen.

I was told ILLEGEAR's color calibration will make the screen warmer and more yellowish.
