I asked to get number of Proton Body & Paint behind CoSE after CoSE being an ass..
They keep giving me number of the manager that have already left...
Took them 3 days to get me the number...

But 110km/h @ 3400rpm?

that's the hardware limitation by punch.
why on earth proton accept the punch cvt in the first place also a major question.

guess have to live with it.

If you're in the Klang Valley, go to the parts centre directly @ Glenmarie. There was a few here and there previously, even 1 in Wangsa Maju but need to confirm if they still exist.

I don't think it's hardware only. The tuning plays a big part as well. I can accept the 1 second delay from standstill. But I cannot accept 3400rpm at 110km/h...better use 4 speed auto if like this!

Punch is a reputable brand, plenty of manufacturers use them as well...Proton used them due to budget I would believe..

I did many times upgrade and flashing the tcu software from setapak, sri kembangan, batu caves and maluri.. nothing improve.. getting worst..laggy and jerking at low speed

Do they display the ECU software version on your receipt?

Not sure, i think they didn’t show the version..
Just the word ‘update ecu software’ or ‘reflashing software’..

just do mine the adaptation using the kinda of mini computer or ecu reader, by the shop, not SC.
takes about 10 minutes to load out or reset using that computer.
done it after change the cvt oil. perform much better than previous.

Tried once.. but still not really smooth in low speed..
I can still feel the 1st gear changing at low speed..

Indeed.. Well I'll just leave it as it is drive until there is problem... disappointed to the MAX

is this for the new upcoming iriz? 110 @ 3.4k rpm really unreasonable though.
is it for 1.3 or 1.6?

my 1.3 cvt iriz does 110km/h @ 3k rpm
i think 1.6 cvt does 110km/h @ 2.7k rpm
my 1.5 myvi gen3 does 110km/h @ 2.7k rpm too..

but 3krpm @ 110km/h for a 1.6 engine is still high. its higher than old iriz 1.6 too

Yeah i think so. Below 3k rpm for 110kmh. Sorry I bought this car for my sister use. Previously only drove for tint and cvt oil n service only.

Iinm around 2.6k rpm 110kmh. 3k at 130kmh iirc.

My HU hang at the startup for 3days d, try reset the set by clicking in the small hole next to the microSD slot, still stuck at the Proton logo afterthat... Tried oush reset together with power button, again, nothing happened... Any advise?

last time I do master reset by that button u mentioned, then put factory reset on setting. so far ok but it is what it is, laggy. best is I able to install a mx player in it and play video from my thumb drive

I remember it being 3.4k rpm...I might heard it wrongly since reviewing the link you posted.

Any how, we'll know once the car is out and we can have a go. It's still bothering me that the rpm @ 110km/h goes up every time they "enhance" the TCU...and even 3.1k rpm is horrendous for a CVT a that speed.

My HU already sent to penang 5 times and still having problem of GPS and Bluetooth.. after 3 years still not resolved, now they said the warranty is finished.. WTH!!!
