something bad happened when I went for the auto car wash the other day. No idea what was in the fluid wax but it damaged the exterior of my spoiler.

Any idea how to repair this? Will polishing it be enough?

Agreed its under powered.

Even with a 30% torque increase(#bersangka baik) with 0.5 bar it will only be 15xNM extra which is still within a safe limit. Why not stroke to 1.6 instead where it will be cheaper and you will get 150 NM(based on specs of 1.6) NA vehicle instead(#TheresNoReplacementForDisplacement)? Its cheaper(from what I heard it would cost 3k+) instead of turbo where a proper setup would cost >10k.

I remember last time gcarcare quoted me 5500 for installation with supercharger and 5000-6000 for monsoon with tuning. 6k just for haltech not including tuning.

Wax residue? Have you try to clean it? try mild apc mix or quick detail spray.

If the surface feel rough maybe some layer of clear coat damage, can try polish it.

Hey, I'm planning to buy 2nd hand Iriz. what is the things that I need to check up on the car as in common problem with Iriz?

Not sure how to check. But suggest u to change the cvt oil, cvt filter (if the car had high mileage, ie 60k km) and rest engine oil service.

Mine also bought 2nd hand but really low mileage (12k km for 3 y.o car). Only complaint is the laggy h.u and was improve a bit after reset and factory reset from settings

Service history most important. It will tell u how the owner takes care of the cars internals. Next is bodywork for dents, scratches. Frame for signs of repairs, engine for fluid leakages. Exhaust during cold start and after test drive for abnormal smoke colour. Lastly test drive to know if theres something off with the car.

Hi guys, gonna ask you guys a question, my iriz passenger side seat bell sensor got problem, chime keep beeping even already buckle up, if I go to the accessories shop and ask them to remove that sensor will effect the airbag or not? I worrying airbag will not function when anything happen, cause the passenger airbag will only pop out if passenger seat bell equipped right?

Are iriz 2019 std manual worth it to get compared w/ saga vvt executive. I am not confident w/ cvt gearbox. I am not really concerned w/ boot space. Is the 1.3 engine is really underpowered for iriz.

for me yes, the 1.3 is underpowered. test the socar iriz 1.3 for version b4 this geely, the car indeed feel underpowered especially on fast accelaration

My dashboard rattle sound is coming back, they basically did nothing to fix the rattle sound.

Share with you my iriz rattle since 2015.
Last fix was 2016 sc put the improvement kit.

Since then it happen after sometime still after the fix.
Then magically 2018 till date the rattle no more, now only left cvt whine.
In longer time maybe the material become harder? The rattle go away.

i fix my dashboard rattle with left over 1/2inch superlon which I got for my iswara. just stuff it into the gap between windscreen and the dashboard, so far it fixed the problem.. so far..

Hi guys, want to ask MT user. Who change Transmission oil during 50,000km service? Because i just realize at booklet every 50,000km and at website/ apps every 100,000km. When i ask SC, the technical PIC said, 100,000km. Anyone experience brakedown when change TO at 100,000km?
