previously when studying, i'm using public bank debit card for 2 years.

4 me, its very2 ok. can pay online (paypal also) with no problem

they sent the card statement every month, even we can still check it via pbebank online.

only, u need to have min balance of rm25.
let say want to swipe rm250, the card balance must have rm275 (more is better).

no annual fee? 1st year is free, 2nd year is rm24, but will be waived, if on the 1st year u shop more than 4k. that 2nd year, i already using credit card. so before the 2nd year finished, i terminate it ~ hehe.

got a question, has anyone tried RHB latest debit card?

Do you have sufficient fund in the account? This has been mentioned many times in this thread. For petrol, if you decide to swipe your card at the pump, you have to make sure you have to have more than rm200 for pre-authorization (rm225 for PB DB), if you proceed at the counter you have to pay only what you pump in your car.

Mostly all the debit cards works the same so wat kind of feedback u expecting???

i'd like to make clarification that the MBB DC is not e-commerce enabled at this time until late this year. Hence you'll not be able to transact online as it is not VISA "verified" yet.

Std Chartered Debit Card can get 7% rebate for fuel and all items in the marts at all petrol stations. The promotion until 31/12/08 but I am not sure about other terms & conditions like limitation on usage per month etc. You can find out from Std Chartered Bank if u r interested.

PBB debit card doesn't work for taiwan countries (online shops) what a sad case

Just apply for maybank debit card... so far didnt use it... but the card seems quite thin...

what is the diff between maybank ATM card and maybank Debit Card?? maybank ATM card oso can use as debit card right??

Maybank ATM yellow card can use at the merchant who show Bankcard only while Debit Card can use at merchant who show Visa.

yup.. Debit card can use anywhere....

I think now there is no more yellow card.
All new account user will be issue with the debit card.
