You can open Maybank Saving Account to entitled Maybank Visa Debit.
But there is some disadvantage for MVD since a lot of issues still not resolve yet such
online purchase. But in future all the problem will solve.

Second is Ambank NexG which monthly fee is higher than other debit card.U need to purchase this
card at 7eleven or Ambank. No need to open account.

Other alternative is Tunemoney visa debit. U can check this Debit card at www.tunemoney.com.my
*
correction..
the link for tunemoney is www.tunemoney.com only
I think the easiest way to apply, top up and cash out PayPal is definitely Tune Card rclxms.gif

read about it more at my blog www.tunemoney.blogspot.com

Those who have SCB mastercard, is the card can use for online purchase? PBVE can registered the card verified by visa through public bank website, therefore the card can use for online purchase. But how about the SCB mastercard, i cant find how to register mastercard secure code? Please icon_question.gif icon_question.gif .... Thank you

Do not need password like Maybankcard. Its works like other normal credit card.

Hi all,

For PBVE, we must always maintain RM25 in the card. But if I cancel the card, where will RM25 go?

after u cancel ur cdebit card account, they will pay u back rm25...so everytime make sure that ur account amount should be more that rm25 if not u cannot do any transaction...

let say if u have rm50 in ur account but wan to buy something which cost rm25.01, then ur transaction will not be successed...

but 1 of the purpose to apply debit card is to use for online purchasing.

Thank you for the answer, now I know why I didn't get to buy online. Anyway, I apply SCB debit card because of the interest rate. tongue.gif

I think its a bad idea to do online transactions using a debit card, coz if anything goes wrong its much harder for the bank to cancel the transaction, than if you used a credit card...

i opened esaver & debit mastercard for 7% petrol rebate... too bad the promotion will end 30 June.... unlikely to extend due to hike in petrol price...but what can we do.... everyday we must consume petrol (for those with motorise vehicle la).. lets utilise it while still can !! higher petrol price mean higher 7% rebate....hehe rclxms.gif
