@Hyde`fK,
May i know the core/memory speed of your 8800GTS?How well is it handling on 24" while gaming?
To be honest, i was shocked on how the 8800GTS performs during gaming. As compared to my 7300GT last time, it was a totally different experience. I thought my 7300GT which is able to handle the C&C3 at HIGH resolution (no AA) was good enough. Everything was realistic. But when i change to the GTS, turned everything to MAX, the effects was totally different...
My card default speed is 576/1350/1700. Until now, I use default settings in every games I play. Last time when I owned a 7300GT, I will overclock it just to have extra fps. As for gaming, most games I've tried fits my satisfication, like Test Drive Unlimited, C&C3, NFS series, GRAW, except STALKER. All games tried on native resolution 1920x1200 with everything max out. Do take note your LCD is on 1680x1050, processor speed to have effects on the FPS. I have tried playing Granado Espada with default clock speed of 1.86Ghz on my C2D, average FPS is about 25fps. After overclocks to 3.2ghz, 100% boost at around 55fps. That's on 1680x1050.
Your card default speed is 575/1200/1700. Shader clock is lesser, which will also affect the fps as well.

Hmm..
Tomatomanz... seems like you are in the same boat as me now.. need to change casing just to upgrade a new gc...
http://www.enermax.com.tw/english/product_...ay1.asp?PrID=22Based on that site the total output in my 12v rails is 36A..
What is the requirement of GTX again??
No less than 30A is recommended. GTX will need 28A to be able to run. Pretty much depends on which model you get. Overclocked version will need more power.
