Dont worry, it should be ok since crysis is fully DX10 developed. Much more optimized than "upgrade" DX10 games.

There is no need to drop price since 2900series does not perform better than 8800series

I also planning to but 20" LCD since the price gap is so little between 19" part.
320MB 8800GTS should be ok if everything max out except little minus on AA/AF. hmm.gif

thks...so i guess 320mb 88gts is more worth it than 640mb if i get 22" n below lcd...finally i can save the extra 500-600 for other stuff rclxm9.gif

Just remember latest games when u enable ultra texture quality needs minimum of 512MB of GDDR RAM.

2 x 1GB 667Mhz DDR2
Samsung 206BW
SG 160GB
Any DVD-RW
i am think want to get Silverstone 400W, how is it? Is it able to deliver enough juice to my rig?
really?! blush.gif  then the poor cooling equipment sure limit its oc-ability doh.gif
anyway, is there any other brand got 8600GT OC edition?
*
What gc u gonna use? if only 8600GT then its ok for 400Watt Silverstone. For other brand OC edition got BFG, XFX, e-VGA, Palit, Eagle and many more.... icon_idea.gif

Is it really that new that there are no drivers yet?

Now u already using 7800GS Extreme which performance near to 7900GS. So no point sticking to DX9 card. Nvidia promise to introduce G90 by the end of the year. You should just wait or just buy 8800GTS. If u buy 8800GTX now, I am afraid next "8900GTS" would outperformed 8800GTX with the same price of 8800GTS now.

Whether it is hot or not it is still acceptable range. It wont hurts your card. Unless u oc too much then need aftermarket cooler lor.

if like that, for sure the noise... doh.gif, can be heard from far away icon_idea.gif, personally, a good better air flow inside the case might help the GPU ambient/GPU core temp low... icon_idea.gif

No such terrible noise like presscot fan.. Ive heard it myself. Still acceptable.
