should i go for 8500GT or 7600GS?
*
i was like u before, hunting for 8500gt or 7600gs...
tongue.gif
end up buying 8600gt...
7600gs will perform better frame rates in games, while 8500gt perform better in HD-movies+wide screens...

IMHO, XFX offered much superior warranty
lifetime warranty for 2 owners
mean if you sold the card to the 2nd owner,
they'll still get the warranty

for BFG and EVGA, the warranty only applied to the 1st owner smile.gif
if you sold them right away, tadaaaaaa....the warranty is gone
Chow.

tongue.gif
is tht neccesary two owner's warrenty...?
change of new gc is so darn fast, wht's the point having life time warrenty...?
later icchi hand sure go change new gc again, seldom see ppl use it for so long...

QUOTE(Eoma @ Jun 6 2007, 11:54 PM)
OT:

To play HD-DVD and Blu-ray titles on the PC at native high res, a HDCP supporting display and HDCP enabled display adapter@GPU is required. The content is encrypted, so the HDCP support is required both at the monitor@LCD and GPU level to play back the encrypted content. If either one is not HDCP compliant, the video and audio will be "forced" to play back at a lower quality scale or not at all.
*
sweat.gif
thx for the clarification on HDCP supporting specs...
i wouldnt expect it require both LCD + gc to be HDCP compliant...
guess i miss out HDCP feature for taking the 1st batch 8600gt...

I actually want to buy Asus bundle but yesterday I round and round LYP... No more Asus stock... But XFX is dominating there.
*
whistling.gif
LYP seldom reload Asus stock once sold out...
they will persuite customer to get something else like XFX... which i feel more expensive...
