We can switch wallet if you have both RMB and MYR. I have both too, so can accept RMB in my CN wallet. WeChat Pay in Malaysia is usually for MY wallet, so cannot use RMB here.

wait. meaning her account is a Malaysia wallet, but with RMB? It's kinda stupid that we cannot convert the RMB to MYR. wanna withdraw also cant. why WeChat pay so stupid SO USELESS? she has at least 600 of MYR equivalent worth of RMB.

I'm finding someone who can perform the exchange. I give RMB, he/she gives my MYR. At least do something like making the account convertible la. abo what purpose. really stupid WeChat.

I have few Ks in my CN wallet but I always go to China so not an issue for me. In addition, WeChat Pay CN has removed many non Chinese users, so be happy that she still can receive RMB. One day she won't be able to do it anymore.

Taobao cannot use WeChat anyway, Taobao is Alipay.

no problem for my phone number. I registered with my facebook and used the same phone number linked to my previous wechat account. Just need to use a new wechat ID

Yeah, finally like China already. I also got it on my WeChat interface.

I have 2 diff. account on android phone but one have another one don’t have so i think it’s not related to what type of the phone you are using...i think is related to wechat rolling out slowly and batch by batch (you know wechat MY kinda slow when come to new features...haha)

Hopefully it will mot take too long time for them to do this...

can i have 2 wechat pay acc? i mean 2 different phones, 2 different numbers but verified using the same IC?
