Yeah graphics are unbelievably good. The verticality of the city and detailed buildings, restaurants, markets are incredible. It's the first PC game I have no issues with it being 45-60fps on a RTX3080 LOL. I do use a ReShade filter for sharpening and fog/haze reduction which causes FPS to be worse than stock settings.

And the side quests are so much better than other open world games. They actually have mini storylines and doing gigs can open up paths to more quests.

It's amazing how everything is immersive (especially if you love cyberpunk setting and you understand Japanese). It's not GTA open world level in terms of pedestrian and police AI and Fallout level of NPC interaction systems, but more like a hybrid between Fallout and GTA.
*

Yup freaking beauty. I also keep looking around during playing. Looking around the beauty of it and also can shortly rest when enjoying the scenery and building structure. Haha!

QUOTE(antaras @ Dec 18 2020, 01:01 PM)
yeah... am a sucker for these kinda settings. Ready Player One have the exact feeling. I even got the Cloudpunk game just for the cyberpunk vibe before this shit storm of a game hit. hahaha... So, as the saying goes, NEVER PRE-ORDER! LOL...

Now will just sit and wait for CDPR to fix and improve on it. Hoping they will continue doing what they did to the Witcher 3.
*

I think the previous console had not enough power to handle it, some more the developer already decided refund and this games is too buggy in PS4, I don’t see the reason why Sony not doing it. Even though this is rare case first time.

This games is so freaking famous now, I believe the developer will continue polish it like what they did in The Witches.

Its the verticality of the open world and detailed props that makes it heavy to run. Last gen consoles (especially their CPUs) simply can't handle such a game.

They would have to totally downgrade the game to make it run at a stable 30fps on base PS4 and Xbox One. Those consoles are a liability to the next gen experience tbh. Same like Xbox being able to run cross-gen. The game also required a few more months of QA even for PC version.

I guess its due to CDPR being a public company - meaning shareholders pressure them to rush out the game before holiday 2020.. which is why its such a messy situation atm.

Yes is a downgrade but you see the timeline since 7 years ago announce is meant to be ps4 & xbox but won't expect to be support for PS5 & Xbox Series X.......

But you see other games like ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA & watch Dog Legion recent release support both old and new console still goes smoothly yes base PS4 model graphic quality lower but playable also open world games.....

Can't compare a dense urban cyberpunk open world with tons of lighting effects with an open world game with recycled textures etc.

Watch dogs legion on base PS4 and Xbox one doesn't perform very well also, low 20 FPS at a dynamic resolution that can hit 540p I think. Not sure.

It's really time to move to next gen.

It's a raspberry pi running Steam Link. Even my old PS Vita can play cyberpunk using Moonlight if that's the definition you want to use haha

Off topic*
Sony just pulled Cyberpunk2077 from it's PS Store and also offer full refund. For those that doesn't know, that NEVER happened before. Whatever shit show a game can be, Sony never ever do this before.
*
Sony has done it before. No Man Sky is another one of the game. So confident need to say 2 times some more.

Assassins Creed Valhalla graphics is no way to compete with cyberpunk, cyberpunk graphics is another level.

Are you sure? I can't find any info on Sony pulling No Man's Sky from their Playstation store though. Anyway, I think it's definitely the first AAA game title.

There is look hard for it, because the top results are before the refund happened. Once Steam allows everyone to refund it regardless of how long they play, Sony allows it as well.

Nvidia website, I always update from Nvidia GeForce Experience, easier and faster.

But I don't use Nvidia GeForce Experience Games optimization, I disable it, I prefer do my own for this part.

Cyberpunk 2077 is extremely life-like beautiful and a great demonstration of ray tracing

The best thing is it's not all forest and jungle again and again but a stunning, futuristic city
Something completely new thumbup.gif

Like man, it's so obvious when RT works and the world is just REAL brows.gif

RT and the crazily vast world make exploring the world so much fun and fascinating, even though a big part of the gameplay is pretty repetitive and UBISOFT
But my god, I'll confess if ubi starts making their games as detailed and decent as Cyberpunk 2077 Imma play the hell out of them
Night City is such a beautiful canvas to load all the contents on it, and CDPR sure loaded alot on it icon_idea.gif

First thing first making the game looking so great is the RT reflection, man it's simply a different game WITHOUT RT REFLECTION
The world is DULL without RT reflection

Next, turning on RT lighting actually adds more shadows on top of RT shadows *im kinda becoming like digital foundry now haha*

ie. the main quest where Johnny brings you to Hotel Pistis Sophia, if you turn on RT lighting esp pyscho/GI you can see light diffuses through the windows and forms a beautiful, nostalgic atmosphere
If you turn off RT lighting the shadow from the window simply disappears and it's a normal hotel room instead of a beautiful backdrop to tell Johnny's story

Parts like these really add to the story-telling and atmosphere and make me understand why most angry players are angry: they simply aren't playing the same game as we do

which is sad but also fuck yeah, PCMR icon_rolleyes.gif

I can say getting the 3080 is worth just for this game, the other games now all feel last gen esp ubicraps
RDR2 is still beautiful, but on the 3080 it runs pretty much like it did on my Xbox One X which is kinda the same case with HZD, DS and other console exclusives

p/s: pardon me for no more screenshots cause I mainly play the game in HDR and all me screenshots are gray-ish shots lmao

Yes yes, CP2077 on PC is impressive. But it's a far cry away from what was shown:

No, I'm not talking about the visuals. But the fact that they flat out lied about almost all the features that was presented in this vid.

The reflections is awesome because it has roughness texture map that controls reflectivity on many different materials such as tiles, as opposed to overused glass and water reflections. Then again the glass reflection on CP2077 has different IOR values across the glass too, so the reflection doesn't look flat
