Can draw more power when required, which is important when overclocking. But a lot of the cards' power limits are limited by BIOS also.

I already researched this on Chinese websites (since Colorful is china brand), and the diff between Ultra OC and Advanced OC is as follows:
1. Ultra OC has lower boost clock (obviously)
2. Ultra OC has lower power limit (370W vs 400W at max)
3. Ultra OC has 7*6mm heatpipes, while Advanced OC has 5*8mm heatpipes and better cooler

PCB of both is exactly same, so only cooling and OC ability is different. To me, just get whatever you can get your hands on since price of both Colorful GPU is only RM200 apart.

from game stuttering, to crashing and more serious, the PC just restarts. and worst case if it’s a cheap psu, kaboom.

Try capping GPU power limit in MSI Afterburner if it's a concern.

If worry about the temps, just lower the power limit of the card by 10-20%, fps reduction is barely noticeable in games. I can't noticed the less than 5% fps loss when I cut 20% power limit on mine. Now I game using it. Ampere is just so awesome for 1440p.

furmark is a power bug aka burn in test.. it will only max out the power to make the card as hot as possible however it doesnt really do much to test stability.
**It's mainly used to test cooling performance only... and back in the days where thermal throttling wasnt a thing, it will sometimes damage the card and asus gave me a middle finger saying I broke the card on purpose.

For stability, it's better you use 3D mark or heaven to test. Or my favourite is games from EA with frostbite engine that is most likely to crash with any little signs of instability.... if can tahan battlefieldV for more than 3 hours straight then can say your PC is stable

it does quite abit more than other games which explains why it's sensitive. Since you already ran the cpu stress test along with furmark means the cpu and your psu should be fine. Now just focus on overall stability.

nfs heat. its da best on gpu stress test. play the game in night races

with the fully populated vrm and still being covered under warranty if the heatsink is removed, I feel the zotac holo is the perfect candidate for a custom waterblock.

yeah.. infact the trinity’s side rgb comes as a single piece of plastic with the entire shroud. it cant be removed.

deshrouding the trinity even with a cheap idcooling fan made a huge difference.. not much on the temp side but night and day in terms of noise.

Easy, continue avoiding Asus. HD4890 remains my last Asus card. None of my friends using Asus. More than 10 years already.

I will continue avoiding recommendations of their cards.
