5k+
Haha nice

Though the difference is less than 10% from 1070 vanilla hahahaha
*
actually more like 14% as per techpowerup result at 1440p and gtx1080 is just 5% faster. This is so stock speed of 1070ti which nvidia doesn’t allow factory overclock.

After OC it is faster than vanilla gtx1080.

woohoo got the galax 1070ti EX. Syok juga, better cooler than the asus gtx1070 dual that i sold and much quieter too. All metal shroud, it actually looks alot better in person than in the photos.

Stock clocks are 1835Mhz, I thought stock boosts for all 1070ti cards are 1683Mhz?

I’m surprised to see sometimes my 6600k can’t keep up with the GTX1070ti in some games...

Can't wait to play Monster Hunter World. I should be able to get around 60fps on High settings on 1440p with the GTX1070ti.

from lowyat.net

"Resetera user FluffyQuack reported that his gaming rig struggled to run MHW at maximum graphics settings on 1440p. Not even getting close to 60fps despite running on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 16GB RAM, and an Intel Core i7-4790K."

Ultra settings 44fps
High settings 65fps from him

just like assassins creed syndicate last time
Ultra settings like 50-60fps but when high settings like 90fps

Idle temperature is slightly higher for those higher refresh rate monitor only. If dual 1080p, insignificant.

my monitor set to 165hz, when idling my gpu is on the lowest clock shown by afterburner

Gsync and high refresh rate IPS monitors are where the true eye candy lies

Can’t believe my gsync monitor is almost 2 years old now.

GTX 1070 used to be around rm 1.6k brand new last year before the mining craze cause it raise the price
*
So cheap meh? When it was no mining craze in 2016 I bought mine at 1.9k, itupun other normal 1070s are around 2.1k, i just managed to korek one cheap.

Btw, Monster Hunter World 2560x1440, High settings, then changed resolution to full, texture highest, 50-70 fps, usually around 60. not that bad since Gsync smooths it out alot.

walao the quadro turing is 16 teraflops. For Nvidia the teraflops is a good indicator of gaming performance.

Compared to 1080ti (11 teraflops), the new fastest turing geforce should be around 40% faster than 1080ti wow

if the geforce has rt and tensor, no way it’ll be 599 to 699. 700mm+ die is too expensive to make. Maybe if it’s a GPU without rt and tensor cores, that pricing is plausible

I'm not sure why everyone is so excited to buy founders edition cards?

The GTX1070 and GTX1080 were announced around May 2016, it took until around November 2016 before I bought my custom GTX1070 at "reasonable" prices. They were either priced too high or out of stock earlier. I'm guessing the new series will face the same timelines.

Anyway best of luck to all those buying, I'll sit this generation out for now.

Bought my gtx1070 for rm1930 last time at nov 2016 too lol
Then sold at rm1800 march 2018.

Then using another extra gtx1070, broken and galax gave me gtx1070ti, much happy with the performance. Better than the original asus gtx1070 dual fan that i had hahhah

hopefully 2080ti won’t cross 1k usd
i mean no competition now
and nvidia still need to clear 1060,1070,1080/ti cards
not to mention 1080ti didn’t even have a competitor

it all depends on da cost of titan VR..

so if titan vr was usd 1200.. then ti will be 799...
if titan VR is USD 1.5k.. ti will be 1.1k usd...

the thing is nvidia has overstock of gtx 1x series.. which has no competition.. so.. da current turing cards.. is just milking money.. MILK MILK...

so u want to be da cow .. pay up
*
nvidia sold 1080ti at $699 launch price when the die size is 471mm2
full turing has 754mm2, much more expensive to produce.

so higher manufacturing costs + milking

can’t wait to see how much it is LOL

I find it odd that the Ti will be released alongside the other models... it is so unlike Nvidia, since they prefer to release Ti months later. Wonder what's that about...

Perhaps 2019 = refresh/rebrand of Turing is a possibility since they will already "have it all out of the door" come 20th August.

Also the big question is how will Ray Tracing benefit games in the nearest future - - I can see Metro Exodus having Ray Tracing as a patch etc., not sure about other games. Hope Jen-Hsun announces some upcoming titles that will support Ray Tracing.

Lastly, there are leaks that point to the GTX 2060 = performing to GTX 1080 levels. If that's the case, we might be in for a nice performance leap.

Final specs:

Not odd at all, since they need to produce full die without defects for Quadro RTX 8000 and 6000, there are bound to be Turing dies that have defects, these are turned into Geforce RTX 2080ti. Similar story for defect Turing chips for Quadro RTX 4000, made into Geforce RTX 2080. Further down the line when their process matures, they can release updated Geforce with full dies, just like what they did with the several Titan X Pascals.

where can i get distill water? 99speedmart?

Easy, go buy the battery water refill at Shell or Petronas petrol station. I've tested these two brands with conductivity meter before and they didn't main tipu.
Never buy the Aleeya brand, same as tap water.

doesnt this reminds u of GTX480.. lol..

then getting farked with gtx580...
*
but gtx480 known to have problems, gtx580 is the proper fermi

this one, full die turing only slightly faster than the defect die on 2080ti. To have something faster than 2080ti requires a bigger die. How big I dunno since turing already 700mm2+

Almost hit that pre-order button... then I thought, geesh, my processor guaranteed to bottleneck (first gen i7-870 ~ OC to 4GHz) which already being pushed by a GTX 970.

I'll wait for reviews and perhaps see if a system upgrade is really needed.

Apparently the consensus on the presentation was underwhelming - 70% Ray Tracing lecture, 25% Gameplay, 5% GeForce RTX GPU details.  biggrin.gif

The part I was most looking forward to were the list of games that would support Ray Tracing (PUBG??) and comparison to Pascal performance for games but the latter... was never revealed.  sweat.gif  Have to wait for reviews.

the only ray tracing performance that was shown was the two demos by nvidia. The star wars and the dancing guy and robots. Both ran at below 30fps iinm. Each frame needed 40+ ms to render
