Last time I use gigabyte gtx 460 1G.
After nearly 3 years (2 and 10 months), it dies, lucky I still can RMA then after that nearly 3 years, it die again.

Last time I start use leadtek px6600, that one I think also last for 3 year then die. Then I get PX8600, this one 1 to 2 year dies.

The strange things is I never overclock it nor playing a lot of stress game like FPS or action RPG which use all the max settings that it capable.
I mostly play turn base game so I also dunno why my luck so bad for graphic card.

I heard ppl say for mid range card, gigabyte better than Asus? How about MSI/Galax?

Maybe.

Also saw a few reports of users saying that by underclocking the the memory about -50mhz and dropping core voltage to -25mv, the card becomes completely stable. This to me sounds like the GDDR6 modules are not manufactured to spec, at least on some batches.

Maybe you just got unlucky with sucky chip.

My ZOTAC 2080 Ti AMP with only +110 and +600 MEM OC boosted up to 2145MHz and sustain 2080~2100MHz. Max temp 66-67 C without aircond. Idle temp 35 C without aircond.
*
U have got a very good chip. Most folks who managed to sustained above 2000mhz are on water blocks. Is your quoted clocks sustained during Timespy bench? I noticed mine struggle to sustain above 2000Mhz during timespy (1440p) but sustained >2000Mhz in games @3840x1600 (AC Odyssey, SOTTR, etc). All apps are set to max power usage.

I just can't imagine why people would spend 3-5k for a graphic card. Especially the new RTX generation. No benchmark to test even. Crazy people.

Well, I just joined the club. icon_question.gif Gigabyte RTX 2080 gaming OC. First time I ever bought a xx80 series. All this while, have been buying only the 60- or 70-series.

Chose gigabyte due to cheaper price all well as shorter card. My casing can only fit any card less then 300mm.

Now awaiting my new Acer predator xb271hu. rclxms.gif

Ya, crazy people! But I'm liking it! biggrin.gif

So far the card reaches 66'c on most games. So cool! Fan on semi-passive auto. No overclock, as usual.

So... My old plasma TV is out of parts, so with the warranty I topped up and get the Panasonic TH-49FX600k. 4k IPS LED, some HDR.

Any suggestions how to check input lag? I don't even know what refresh rate is this monitor running at. (Already asking Panasonic FB rep, await response).

Will use my gaming rig (8600k with 1070Ti) to try it out.

No clue since no one tested that one. Maybe get the LG one's the UK model which is 4K IPS LED has a really good input lag.
I looked into it since I'm aiming for a 4K TV myself as a monitor, it's just around 2k more or less.

“Dual chaining” - did u mean using only 1 main cable from psu and split it to 2 pieces of 8 pins?

I thought it’s supposed to use 2 pieces of pcie cable from psu 🤔

Whoops what I meant is the FFXV benchmark with DLSS .bat file . Apparently only shared with reviewer or press that signed NDA

Oh well if no one is sharing I suppose I just wait for on the 9th for BFV . Hopefully ray tracing will be ready for use .
Shadow of tomb raider still until today being updated without any ray tracing bye.gif
