i find buying a monitor atm is more crazier.

got a strix today... so far other than the second msi card which showed a bit of issue ( but seriously i cant say its a issue cause not even sure cause it happens like after 5-6 hours of gaming.. but then because of da card length.. had to take out da fan meant to feed air to the card..)...

3 cards.. i really dont see that kind of artifacting they are talking about for AIB cards.

just a flickering on da left side of da screen.

i more alarmed at da gtx 1080 rma rate over two years..

i guess cause atm most of the RTX buyers are either new rigs or fairly new with good psu/mobo/cpu/ram/cooling ( case fans etc) to match.. hence y its low...

i never oc my vrams for 24/7.. experience of da ages.. normally any gpu .. first thing that gets farked is always da vram..
even when all previous cards has been watercooled.. still no vram oc for 24/7.. only gpu clock..

I've come to a point that I am in doubt whether even a 5Ghz 8700K / 9700K is providing sufficient juice to cards like RTX 2080 / RTX 2080 Ti, let alone them in SLI configuration, though one can argue SLI config would be running on 4K or higher and has less dependency on CPU.

Previous nvidia promotion on asus they even go to the length getting the code for me even though purchase outside the promotion period . Screw gigabyte I'm not going to buy from them again.

da major diff that i had when i went from
4790k to 7820x was no more i/o bottleneck on the dmi.
dmi 2.0 for me was being saturated by my drives with me doing alot of data moving while the cpu/rams were tasked for other things.

seriously now with 800mbps.. and few other things i am noticing already dmi 3.0 saturation on small read/writes.

hoping for dmi 4.0 with native usb 3.1 multiple nvme raids..

oh yeah optane is a raid ya. pretty cool stuff. running it with a wd red drive.

yeah, ure already too late in da game for DMI 3.0 chipset.. ( z170,z270,x299,z370,z390)
