Below 2k for 1080ti is possible yes but most likely just Zotac brand. Other brands like Asus and etc will still be more expensive as usual. Wait when 2080ti out sure price will drop more.
I on the other hand just buy 1080ti and sell my 980ti before resale value drop more. But in this case 1080ti price also drop, so kinda a bit of dilemma that time haha. But considering my old 980ti is older and will drop like crazy, i think it's a safe bet rather than waiting for 1080ti price to drop further.
Also I game on 1080p setup still with 1080ti. Kinda overkill? But will last me for quite a while. Thinking of going 2k at least for the sweat spot for the card, rather than 4k, since need to lower some settings and etc.
I'm using 1080ti with 1080p monitor as well lol . Mistakenly bought ASUS Strix xg27v monitor , ended up had to use DSR to make use of the 1080ti potential...
couldn't tahan pulled the trigger for RTX 2080 ti Gigabyte Windforce OC
I still have my Zotac 1080ti lol . Updated the latest BIOS and now I can increase to higher power limit and manage to oc till core clock boosted till 2065 Mhz . Can I go higher than this ? But my temp kinda scary hovering around 87c
Jelly those who won silicone lottery manage to boost till 2100++ core
On side note which non reference card manufacture offer the best bundle ? I can only get gpu stand LOL
My Zotac 2080 Ti AMP boosted 2130 MHz and stayed 2100 MHz @ Max temp 66 C without aircond. +100 Core Clock , +600 Memory OC using afterburner.
Why your Gigabytes temp so high till 87 C?
My idle temp without aircond is 40-41 C because the core clock stay @ 1350 MHz and didn't downclock. Search on the internet, its common for people who use 2 monitors 120Hz with higher resolutions, the core clock will never downclock like using 1 monitor. But to think it still idle 40-41 C at 1350MHz constantly is not so bad.
I probably pump to much voltage . Will try to reduce that and power limit
But 2130 Mhz is a nice boost . Still havent play with the OC scanner
That's a lot of heat man! Anyway, try to undervolt your card and use custom fan curve using afterburner. Reddit is a good source of info. Are you gonna sell your 1080ti?
Havent got time to play with the card kinda busy with work . Will try custom fan curve this weekend . Overall I am impressed with the card . Damn quiet but powerful , previously was getting around 45 fps on Assassin Creed Odyssey now getting like 75 fps +-
Yup selling my 1080ti but its an ex mining card though .So far nobody interested even though I'm selling it for like rm 2k . Warranty still got about 4 years
how long have you been using that monitor? i just bought the same model 2 months ago, hopefully no problem for the long run.
just got it end of September 2018 . Quite new .... and I thought I was lucky not getting dead pixels or backlight bleed which is notorious for the model then suddenly on the 3rd week bam 1 random vertical black line
Can anyone with 2080ti share me their FFXV 4k High quality score ? I saw someone getting up to 7000 lol how the heck they push till that high

as long as you check your model is manufactured on 2018 then should be no problem. my batch was march 2018, so far no issue but for once the center of my screen not aligned properly but after a on/off monitor, it fix the problem. bought on may 2018 use till today no problem so far.
mine date of manufacturing is on may 2018 LOL . I dont know to blame acer or nvidia

I got zotac amp. Poor overclocker..barely able to sustain 2050mhz, mostly around 1980mhz. I think 7k are probably si lottery and water block. Might also be flashed with 380 power limit bios from Galax.
Ic zotac amp oc sucks . How about the temp though for full load ?
The failing RTX 2080ti with graphic artifact and BSOD kinda worrying me to OC the card . I'll just stay on stock for now
Whoops what I meant is the FFXV benchmark with DLSS .bat file . Apparently only shared with reviewer or press that signed NDA
Oh well if no one is sharing I suppose I just wait for on the 9th for BFV . Hopefully ray tracing will be ready for use . Shadow of tomb raider still until today being updated without any ray tracing

Well on a whole, we're still looking at under 2% of the owner base for 2080 and 2080Ti combined that reported errors. That's still within margin of error that crops up in any products.
It only takes a few reports for an expensive item in regards to faultiness and the whole thing blows up like as if the whole world is having problems. Always, it's basic human nature to blow shit up. They fixed DSR with 416.34 broke a few games with flickering, fixed the flickering (only with a few games) with 416.64 then broke DSR again. Lol. Yes I have the same problem.
because of that driver I thought my card is faulty . Hotfix more like don't fix it if it's not broken
