i have checked https://zadig.akeo.ie/ for updated drivers, and ways to uninstall drivers. yes they are pretty standard in terms of driver uninstall. however, you should try what niakulah suggested also.

well, at least you still have the last option.

i`ve decided to give last try before installing clean os.
followed niakulah steps.
what did i do?

1.plug in usb then uninstall + delete drivers that pop out in device manager
2. repeat the steps multiple times - for me i did it for 5 times

and the problem resolved rclxm9.gif

turn out that my windows was installing multiple drivers for my ymdk96. i need to delete it one by one by plug in & unplug it back multiple times.

thank you hornsniakulah TSquovadis123 @ for all your help and guides. smile.gif

it's better to state your budget directly. the word 'affordable' is kind of subjective.

you should extend your search to aliexpress or taobao if you really cannot find them at lazada or shopee.

a retail unit, with key caps, cable, 68%/75% layouts, hot-swap pcb, at that price range, might not exist yet, e.g. mojo75 might be the only 75% with hot-swap pcb, but its price is at the higher side.

however, with the budget, 60% and tkl are more common, e.g., gk6x (61, 64; gk68 is expensive), tecware phantom elite tkl.

Anyone can recommend a white 65% or TKL mechanical keyboard under RM250?

Preferably those that are easily available...

Hey guys, I'm torn between RK71, Magicforce 68 (new version with pbt keycaps) and Ajazz AK33.

I have a shopee voucher worth RM50 on minimum spending. I want something's that's bang for the buck while maintaining keycap customizability without issues. Bluetooth doesn't matter to me as I have a TKL RK987 coming.

Any thoughts?

Best keycap compatibility would be handsdown the Magicforce 68 (even a standard 104 kit fits, last I checked), then the RK71, and lastly, the AK33 (coz those 1.25U keys all over the board isn't helping)

Can't really say about the "bang per buck" coz, they seemed to be wildly different in pricing with the MF68 being the most costly one, but it's also one of the "more decent without too much work" ones.

For those people who have filmed their switches before....would you do it again? Was it worth it?

Reason I'm asking is I just finished lubing and spring swapping all 108 switches for my new keeb last night. My films still haven't arrived and I'm itching to solder.

Will I regret not waiting for my films?

Edit: Switches are Cherry MX RGB Browns and are reasonably tight even after lubing. Some have totally no play, some have minor play. Filming would make it consistent I suppose.

i suggest to wait for them. you're using cherry mx brown rgb, switch top wobbles will happen after you opened them up.

although switches with nylon housings are less prone to switch top wobbles, i use switch films on them too. for linear switches (i think this is also true for tactile switches), i prefer to have consistent typing feel, and better singular sound.
