Case

PCB Choose PCB only and not any of the other kits

Stabs. Choose GH60 plus 1 setEdit - Actually if you are sure you want a 6.25U spacebar, you can choose the GH60 1 set. Difference is it doesn't come with a 7U stab.

Switches. I recommend the 5 pin since the PCB accepts it. Makes it easier to align. But you're not installing yourself so up to you. How many pieces depends on what layout you want. Check on the PCB page for possible layouts.

Choose assembly switch 80

All you need now is keycaps and a USB C cable.

But since you like the NYM96, why not the XD96?

thank you very much for your help sir. really appreciate it. BTW i already had a full layout keyboard. just want to try compact keyboard.

I offer build commissions. Assembly starts from around RM80 for the most basic one, of course, the pricing adds up when including tuning and tweaking (lubed switches, tuned stabs, foamed plate etc) as well as if there's any LED involved. You could always drop me a message on Facebook Messenger if you're interested. wink.gif

thank you for your offer sir. will contact you later if i decided which keyboard that i`ll buy.

is there anyone here is willing to check/flash my ymdk96 pcb?
i bought hot swab pcb from aliexpress.
upon arrival, i`ve tested the key, it was okay but the left ctrl was mapped to CAPS LOck.

so decided to configure it using guide from YMDK

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1J3eNsGGvX5...QwSVgKu3MA/view

unfortunately, after flashing, all the keys is not registered. The RGB lighting is working btw.
i`ve done multiple reset but still the key still not functioning.. cry.gif

from the guide, basically you just needed to upload the correct json to the site, and get the .hex. the keymaps looked ok to me by default, so you don't need to change anything. i had no issue configuring and compiling the .hex.

did you unplug and plug in the cable after flash?

edit: .. and you said you did multiple resets. did you do the reset by pressing the physical reset button, or by pressing spacebar + b before you reconnect the cable to the keyboard? you can see the status with qmk toolbox.
*
i did the same thing.
after flash, unplug and plug it back.
still the same. keys not detected

edit: i pressed the physical reset button as the keys is not functioning.

ok. i assumed that the results were the same: qmk_toolbox showed a yellow message that the pcb was in dfu mode, and you have flashed the pcb successfully with the downloaded .hex file many times, after you have installed the Zadig drivers.

i found this reddit post, https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboard...cb_flash_issue/ it might help.

This pcb i flash before last year, so, just flash using ymd96. It's ideal case teaching to flash this board.
If not working, you can send to me to check.
Just that, we said "can" but you tried "can't", it's either we or you think it too simple. Maybe sometime have components or layout rosak, or even controller pins lift off.
*
i tried to use my brother`s computer. miraculously his pc detecting the keyboard and also the key switch is functioning well.
i use switch hitter and found out that my ymdk96 is successfully flashed before.

but then when i put it back to my pc, the switch is not working doh.gif doh.gif
i think there is driver issue in my pc sweat.gif sweat.gif
i don`t know what should i do..

good smile.gif at least now we have narrowed down to the real cause: driver issues on your compurer, not wild guesses anymore.

you can try to remove all related keyboard drivers in your device manager, and reinstall them. usually this should resolve it. alternatively, try using other usb ports also.

worst comes to worst, just do a clean os install and starts everything fresh. edit: this is the worst case scenario. usually there is no need to do this.
*
i will try to do it today.
right now, i`m still afraid to flash my keyboard. 8 hours in front of my pc trying to figure out what is wrong with my keyboard yesterday shakehead.gif

tried everything, delete all the drivers, reinstall + reset the PCB.
nothing works.

i have checked https://zadig.akeo.ie/ for updated drivers, and ways to uninstall drivers. yes they are pretty standard in terms of driver uninstall. however, you should try what niakulah suggested also.

well, at least you still have the last option.
*
i`ve decided to give last try before installing clean os.
followed niakulah steps.
what did i do?

1.plug in usb then uninstall + delete drivers that pop out in device manager
2. repeat the steps multiple times - for me i did it for 5 times

and the problem resolved rclxm9.gif

turn out that my windows was installing multiple drivers for my ymdk96. i need to delete it one by one by plug in & unplug it back multiple times.

thank you hornsniakulah TSquovadis123 @ for all your help and guides. smile.gif
2 weeks of headache finally ended.

hello guys, what is the the type & length of screw that can be use to fix plate and pcb altogether? is it m2 20mm?

because currently if i use stock screw, it will only fix the the pcb over the case and the plate is just like hanging/held by switches.
