I also doing my own business with partners (I'm not handling much thing here) earn me about 5k per month
But it fluctuate with markets and seasons and quite competitive.

We are expanding our business, and I'm looking to quit my job to be a property agent. What do you all think?
Anybody know the average earning of an average performance property agent?

I think your insurance and property can co-exist, just do some part time for property and slowly divert your attention to property. When you sell property, you get to know the buyer better, at the same time might be able to intro some new insurance to the buyer, 1 stone 2 bird.

Oh sorry mixed up with that. But what kind of insurance office position can earn so much with so good performance bonus? drool.gif Do share your job scope, interested to know.

But then again, property can go for part time first as sudden decrease in salary will definitely cause a little problem for you. Part time property agent first would suffice, to see if you are suitable for that field. laugh.gif

BI is very much sought after these days, especially when businesses start shifting to digital and rely on market data heavily.

Do you need strong technical background to do this job? I am more towards the functional side and I am wondering if I can make the switch.

Should be UOB as OCBC will not give 16% EPF off the bat, plus OCBC have a 13th month salary.
