QUOTE(manking91 @ May 28 2010, 06:57 PM) so...anyone wanna update us on the eos result??? Well, first of all I did not take biology in spm. But, when i check the requirement, it stated that I need CCC and chemi is compulsory. Bio is not compulsory, but because it is a medic course, i should have deep knowledge in bio right? So, if i take bio in A levels, hmmm... do u think how hard it is to cope up? Providing i'm a dedicated student but not a genius or super smart 1. Added on May 28, 2010, 7:01 pm what do u wanna know?? my friend taking it... so maybe i can answer some of ur questions?? |

I heard that IMU will give us a semester to do our MUET if we haven't. Is this true? Meaning we can enter the IMU without MUET?

I would like to seek a confirmation. Lets say if someone sits for his A levels or Ausmat examinations in December 2010 and apply to IMU for the February 2011 intake, would they consider the application pending the release of the examination results.

I think applications close in late November and all interviews have to be conducted by then. You will be considered based on your forecast or AS results and may be given a provisional place with certain conditions. Since A level results are released in January, your offer will be confirmed if your results meet the conditions stipulated and you have paid the fees by the due date. So, yes, they will consider your application. |

QUOTE(Cristiano-Ronaldo-7 @ Jun 10 2010, 06:12 PM) hmm its like a whole lot of work for neuroanatomy but very little comes out gosh... your batch is... gila. i don't think i prepared for sem 5 during my sem 4 break.no im not in sem 5 yet. just finished sem 4. so my matching will be conducted towards the end of this year. well anyway.... for cns, patho qws came out quite a bit. some anatomy qws were thrown in too (ospe had a picture of the base of skull and required us to name the veins/sinuses. an oba qw asked about wat nerve would be injured if someone was poked in the superior orbital fissure.) i know it's important to learn about the light reflex pathway. nkm will emphasize it a few times. + ascending/descending tracts sem 3 stuff was pretty easy. if they asked us those qws in sem 3, we would have answered everything correctly. but too bad not many of us concentrated on studying sem 3 stuff. nevertheless, results were good i think. apparently 4 failed theory and 1 failed osce. matching results are the same for every batch. some extremely happy they got their 1st/2nd choice, some extremely disappointed they got their lower ranking unis. |

QUOTE(monkeygirl @ Jun 21 2010, 04:01 PM) gosh... your batch is... gila. i don't think i prepared for sem 5 during my sem 4 break. WTF?!? Sem 4 break for what want to camp out in library? Last chance to enjoy before the torture of sem5! Hey I was hoping that since there's no topic about Community Health Survey, Selectives, and Integrated Medical Seminars, maybe someone would like to share their experiences?anyway.... for cns, patho qws came out quite a bit. some anatomy qws were thrown in too (ospe had a picture of the base of skull and required us to name the veins/sinuses. an oba qw asked about wat nerve would be injured if someone was poked in the superior orbital fissure.) i know it's important to learn about the light reflex pathway. nkm will emphasize it a few times. So, since 4 failed theory and failed osce, they have to resit and miss the matching? Also, how many is there left in your batches anyway monkeygirl and Cristiano-Ronaldo-7? |
