Erh? Wasn't it 200k plus minus? Thats much better than 500 grand to study in the uk isn't it? tongue.gif
*
if uk cost 500 grand, i would def be heading to uk already by then. uk fee's alone would set you back 700K + and that depends, 700K could be lowest i think. and some going up as much as 800K.

i just need to ask, is it true, that you need a AAAA for alevels to get into IMU?

thats damn stiff then, or are they a uni that wants all rounded students?

yeah, i seem to get some really good reviews and some really bad ones. and on the other hand, people are telling me imu accepts almost any tom d*** and harry, and on the other hand, you might need AAAA to get in or something. (alevels of course) .

humm, well i went with my college the other day, the lecturer told me 2A's with loads of cocuricullar activities and you'll def be able to enter.

is it true, you should rank your unis based on how well you think you'll pefrom within the poppulation, like if you think you're def a top student place your desired uni at 1 or 2, or if you think you're not too good and place it like 3rd 4th kinda thing, like a safety thingy

does anyone know the allocation of students to the universities per batch. like i know for jefferson, its only 2 students, that means 4 students per year will only get it. what bout the rest? yeah really lucky 08 students still get to go melbourne.

haha am currently checking i drive now out of curiosity. and onelove, our lectures mentioned that there isn't much of a difference its just the exposure an open body, which one will see a whole lot during clinical years, so what ever you miss out now , you'll have a good chance of doing so in the coming years. the medical museum ain't too bad either. except some of the models are broken, most recently noted the eye model, cant place the lps on the model without tape.

my batch mates are studying it as though tomorrows the paper already.

but my seniors tell me not to worry too much as its closely related to our lecture notes and its 50 mcq.

im currently using my notes (90%) some marieb and those muslim society guided "what do you have to know for this weeks lecture" module.

and interview results etc will be notified by post. so just wait around. see you jan. if youre really lazy, you can skip orientation. : )

haha, maybe thats what we say concerning history. a majority of people hate to read and memorize actually.

chika i use wikipedia for everything, movies, music, days that i just feel like reading up on something i will just wiki the most random things in the world, like TOILET PAPER or something.

the guy in the previous page, the minimum requirement is now ABB. and yes, 300 ringgit for them is money, more over, rich parents will send their kids in (with a nice generous donation to the deans biggrin.gif )

gun point in car? i heard this all occured at the stupid car park right? they should be more stringent with the people that hang around over there. i mean the guards are paid to do something right!

and lastly, yes from what was mentioned earlier on in this thread, imu cannot send all the top notch students to one university. and there has been rumors of JPA scholars taking up some places already, like its pre booked for them sort off thing. alot of seniors say there is no transparency with it. hence connections and money could help too, you might be the lucky few going to edinbrugh with 4 top students, one medicore student and one yourself!

hmm , well rumors are rumors. yes , i'm vying for aussie place too, but dont mind a few uk unis. i think im mediacore, hopefully can slot me in with some of the smart kids to aussie.

yeah they should have spread them you guys into two groups. the jpa scholars in my class are really really good. however some of them from what my friends have told aren't the top class material. and i realised m2 batches the students are not as relaxed as the m1's, lecturers complained saying many of them arent doing so well or something.

chika forgot to ask you, do you have anything to help me with OSPE, i'm quite scared, i can hardly discriminate the given slide at times, they look alike sad.gif. any book besides prof maks and the lab session pictures to help me with ospe?

thanks chika. ospe damn scary sad.gif eos 2 also they are giving me 2 weeks in between my summative to that. so i have very little time to spare during that 2weeks preparing. compared to you guys , you had CVS during that time to catch up with sem 1 work right?

i'll note the silos thing. oh yeah, pharmaco's a living hell i tell you.

now am currently memorizing virus. all 19 groups of them!

but time to sleep after.

the most interesting club would be infinity milers, one of the most active ones around. they organize alot of hiking trips, and since there are alot of marathons around, alot of the members tend to sign up for it.

One question, does the student don't like mixing with different race? Like Malay is on group, Chinese one group?

Afraid that it would be harder to make friends.
*
it depends. but from what i've seen, mostly stick to their own race, only a few small groups like a bit mixed up , got one malay pop out, or one two chinese here and there in different race groups.
